FOLLOWIN pH Up and Down Control Kit for Hydroponics and Soil Gardens

My husband originally bought this kit about a month ago to help us regulate the pH of the water for our houseplants. We are on well water here, and the levels can be pretty unpredictable, so having a reliable way to stabilize it has been great. We’ve been using it consistently, and so far, it’s been working exactly as it should to keep the water at an adequate level for the plants to stay healthy. The chemical content is effective but easy to manage—a few drops of the "Up" or "Down" solution and we're good to go. In terms of use and ease of use, the included dropper makes it very simple to get a precise measurement without any mess. I was specifically worried about leakage, but the bottles are sturdy, and the caps seal tightly, so we haven't had a single drip or spill in the cabinet. For the price, the value for money is excellent because the solutions are concentrated; this kit is going to last us a very long time. The durability of the packaging feels high-quality, and it’s a relief to have a consistent solution for our well water issues. Definitely worth it if you want to stop guessing about your water quality!

Ph up and down is required if you're doing Hydroponics because you have to test the water everyday and adjust accordingly so you will need both value for your money there was no leakage during delivery easy to use understandable instructions also comes with a measuring cup which makes it extremely easy

The effect on water content is noticeable, but it’s not super strong. You may need to use more solution than expected, especially if your starting pH is far off, which can go through the bottles a bit faster. The durability of the bottles is decent. They feel sturdy enough and seal well, though I did notice one cap needed to be tightened carefully to avoid any small drips. I didn’t have any major leakage issues, but I can see how it could happen if the caps aren’t fully secured. It’s something to keep an eye on when storing them. It works across different setups, which is nice. I used it for basic plant watering, but it would also work for hydro setups or other uses. The included testing solution is helpful for getting a quick read, though it’s more of a basic indicator than something super precise. For the price, the value for money is decent, especially as a starter kit, but if you need something stronger, you might go through it quicker than expected. Overall, this is a good entry-level option for managing pH levels, just be prepared to use a bit more solution to get the results you want.

Dunno how anybody gives this stuff 5 stars. You have to use half the bottle to lower ph

Have no issues with this product it does what it needs to. Also it comes with reagent liquid and a little container to color code the ph that the water is. Overall easy to use and worth the money.

I’m reading this at three out of five stars not because it didn’t work, but because it required a lot more solution to balance my tapwater compared to other brands. I almost had to use twice as much of this pH up compared to the general hydroponics, but can’t attest to the pH down as I never needed to use it. The indicator solution worked well, the solution actually worked and adjusted my water, I just burned through the bottle way faster than I should have. Going forward I’ll stick with general hydroponics but this would work in a pinch!
