First time use...
First used as soon as it was delivered...Performece... Good suction, led at the tip of rollers very useful, turning is a bit slower as it's heavy but still good, no pet fur is stuck on any rollers, emptying it was so much easier as the container is so big, I am impressed as it do not have all those Dyson small tubes..It's heavier than my Dyson ball v4 digital. But I will get used to it..Overall easy to use, powerfull suction...

Great little vacuum!
The G4 Kirby I had for almost 30 years finally kicked the bucket and this is the vacuum I chose to replace it with. I was literally shocked at how much dust, dog hair and dirt this vacuum sucked out of our throw rugs on top of tile as well as our padded carpet in the bedrooms. The bagless container is so easy to empty and the air freshener compartment is a really nice option to smelling dirt or dog smell like the Kirby. It's amazing how fast the container fills, but it's nice to know this Shark is doing its job! Great middle of the road vac and easy to carry, if needed. Absolutely no issue putting it together - without even reading the directions. Well worth the money and definitely recommend it.

This puppy sucks in the best possible way
pros:-This puppy sucks dirt, pet hair, dust, spider webs, and anything else in the best possible way.-The swivel steering is a very different feel if this is your first swiveler. Being a swivel virgin I'll have to get used to it. It does make approaching a spot from different angles easier.-It feels sturdily built. I worked up a sweat moving it around, unhooking the hand held tank and carrying that around. I liked that I could bring the above-floor wand with it so that I didn't have to squat too much, but when I did the accessory wouldn't lay flat to get the right suction, insert squatting again. Will have to look into other accessories. (later discovered the tool head can be swiveled, there's that word again, to adjust, will have to see how easy that is next time I vacuum)-Did I mention that this thing really has great suction?-The low/floor suction setting is not so loud that my dog was bothered. When I used the high/carpet setting he was out the door.- The suction control slider made it easier to vacuum my bathroom throw matts. It worked especially well on the larger ones, not so well on the small one by the toilet. The vacuum still wanted to eat it. yum yum- The tubing is sturdy and tightly coiled. I hope it relaxes some as it does not give enough leeway while holding the detachable dust cup section.I'll have to work theist cup emptying process out. Like most of these types of tools, when I emptied it a swirl of dust arose from the trash can. It did empty well though. I did not have to reach in and remove any pet hair clumps.- And last but not least, this vacuum got a lot of dust my old one couldn't. I really like that. I hope it lasts.cons:-The cord really is a problem. I get it, with the lift off handle a permanent hook would not work. The little clamp hook by the top cord holder helps, but it still gets tangled. Another clamp hook on the back of the handle would solve this problem. As it is, I held it in the same hand as I held the handle in and it was a bit of a hassle each time I stopped to lift something or change accessories, but it worked. It will get old. I'll figure something out but I would have gathered Shark designers do that.- The dust cup blocks the brush roll indicator light while operating the vacuum in an upright position. Needs better placement.- The accessory holder is useless. In the first room I vacuumed, one or the other of the accessories fell off 4 times before I just took them off and put them aside. Got to another room and needed them so had to go fetch them. Oh bother. Will I have to wear a tool belt for my accessories with this thing?- Will have to figure out a tool for under the bed. The whole upright does not fit and if I use the wand, the little accessory does not lie flat. For now I'll use my swiffer style broom. There has to be a better solution.

Don't think, just click add to cart and check out!
I bought this vacuum on sale for prime days 2023. It was just delivered today 7/16. This is the 2nd shark I've purchased. The other was bought 2 years ago and promptly returned as it did not work well at all. So I was very hesitant to try again. But I have no regrets! I did spend several weeks reading up on other models. I compared the navigator to the rotator and all that. Even after weeks of thinking I could mot decide which to get because they all had great reviews and were attractive looking. Now, I cannot believe I paid so much for a vacuum without a retractable cord but I also can't believe that I waited so long! SHARK very clearly focused their energy on function vs fancy features and I'm not mad about it!My carpet is 3 years old. I am 1 person without children. I do have 2 cats and occasionally dog sit for family. I also live in AZ where it is very dusty. I do occasionally wear shoes in the house but very infrequently And my shoes are never very dirty. I don't keep windows open much bc of all the dirt and dust. I vacuum 1 to 2x a week with a Bissell that I have had for around 6 years. My carpet has been matted down in areas of heavy traffic despite it just being me living and walking here. Vacuuming has never made any difference in the matting.I got this vacuum today and immediately put it together and vacuumed the living room. I am stunned, horrified, FLABBERGASTED, and almost embarrassed. Please note I vacuumed on Monday this week. Today is Sunday. My robot vacuum went around the whole living room 3 hours before I used the shark. The robots cannister was not even a quarter full.I have attached photos showing how much yuck the shark pulled out of my carpet. I can't believe my eyes. I also attached a photo showing an area that was matted before and after vacuuming. The cannister on this shark seems to be pretty large capacity compared to my Bissell. It is not overly noisy. The handle is comfortable. It was very simple to put together. Took all of maybe 2 minutes by myself. The swivel steering does take some getting used to, kind of like learning reversing with a trailer on your vehicle.I have not tried any of the accessories yet so I can't say how well they work. But I would buy this again and again.I recently had a spinal fusion and spend most of my time in a great deal of pain. Using this vacuum did not cause any additional pain to my neck or back. My legs and arms burned afterwards bc it was difficult to push but I believe that's because of the amazing amount of suction this thing has!Long story short. Buy it. You won't regret it. Stretch before you vacuum.Pros:-amazing suction/ function-deep cleaning-easy to put together-attractive design-large dirt capacity.Cons:- cord is not retracted- swivel steering takes some getting used to- the very strong suction seems to me the vacuum slightly difficult to push.As far as the features I'm asked to rate, I do not have stairs so I can't say how it would do with stairs. But I can't imagine it would be anything less than great. I also have not tried the lift away feature.
