Unsure of benefits but taking it anyway
I’ve bought this product a few times for a family member with advanced liver disease who will need a transplant within 5 years. Not ever a drinker, he has NASH which is the very advanced version of fatty liver. It is usually related to high blood sugar and this patient is indeed diabetic.His specialist said milk thistle was fine to try as long as it’s of European origin, because countries like Germany and UK actually regulate supplements as closely as pharmaceuticals. The US is not nearly as stringent.He’s been on it a few months along with some other stuff. Will update this review when he gets bloodwork done.Thank you to the good folks overseas who make this available on Amazon. The first order came from Ukraine, next one from Slovakia. I appreciate you.
