Azteq Himalaya up to 3 Person 9.0 by 12.6 Foot Sport Camping Tent 100% Waterproof 6000mm

I am a retired Scoutmaster and an avid Outdoorsman.I have owned over twenty tents in my lifetime from Kelty , Eureka , Coleman to El Cheapos!!My good friends at Nautika which make this tent sent this tent to me to review.I previously reviewed the NTK Cherokee Gt tent 10 X 12.Which has become the highest rated line of tents on Amazon.Check out those dome tents for yourself.Now to be honest at my age I like large family tents however I wanted something in case of a bugout situation or hunting.First let me run down the specs.Ultralight at 10.78 lbs for a 4 season tent.Dimensions with fly on 9 ft by 12.6 4.4 ft high.Rainfly 6,000 mm water column this means rain or snow truly 4 seasons.The floor is also 6,000 water column nylon oxford PU coated.Everything is reinforced and tape sealed.As if it needed it !!!Now it's highlights two roof vents open or closed the roof top can also be zipped up to retain heat while still breathing.It has a snow /mud mat all the way around it.It has two doors front and back and a vestibule that closes with zippers and velcro.It has mesh pockets on the inside for gear.It has a hook for lamp in the ceiling.It has guyout points galore.The inside dimensions measured 8.53 ft by 6.88 ft by 4.26 ft high.Take into account this is a geodesic tent.Lastly this tent has ARE YOU LISTENING HAS ALUMINUM POLES!!! 8.5 mm.Where am I going with all this a Cabelas tent which is respectable weighs 18 lbs and has fiberglass poles? The price is $350.Boys and girls my fellow campers This Azteq Himalaya is a force to be reckoned with.This tent is bomb proof!!Mother nature can huff and puff and it will still be standing!! I have set it up twice.Stake it down loosely thread all pole then start lifting and inserting in hole loops.Throw on the fly guy out.I am serious about my equipment.Once again Nautika well done!!!!PS..I will be doing a field review shortly for all of us Amazonians.
