The product looks nice, is convenient, and seems very practical. However, I was genuinely surprised that the screw holding the plates simply fell out. I tried to reattach it, but the screw would not tighten at all and remained completely loose, which left me no option but to return the product. This happened within the return window, which I appreciate, but it seriously undermines the level of German quality one would expect. I did not use the grill extensively during the one-month period, I live alone and work full-time, and used it perhaps around 10 times, mainly to heat pita bread for about a minute each time. I rated this product one star because had this issue occurred only a few days later, I would not have been able to return it and would have lost money on a product that costs more than many alternatives. I believe the manufacturer should improve quality control and pre-release diagnostics, and possibly reconsider the materials used.

Valet stod mellan Tefal och denna och jag är glad att jag valde denna. Har nu provat att göra toast, grilla hamburgare, zucchini, aubergine, potatis, mm. Allt blir perfekt. Att den dessutom är riktigt snygg är också en bonus. Den är riktigt enkel att göra ren efter användning. Har man bara gjort toast räcker det att torka av plattorna med lite fuktigt hushållspapper. Efter grillning av saker det rinner från fungerar avrinningen till uppsamlingsskålen på baksidan perfekt, så det är bara att snäppa loss grillplattorna och dra ut skålen och diska dem med en svamp. Tefals grillar är säkert också bra men jag skulle inte vilja ha en sådan stående framme, den här pryder sin plats på bänken och tar mycket mindre plats om jag skulle ställa in den i ett skåp.

Das Gerät macht einen kompakten, wertigen Eindruck, ist schnell aufgebaut und ebenso schnell wieder gut verstaut durch seine Flachheit. Beim Einsatz heizt es sehr schnell auf; leider gibt es keine Anzeige, wann die Temperatur erreicht ist - mittlerweile fehlt mir die Anzeige auch nicht mehr, weil ich meine Teile auf Backpapier in den kalten Ofen lege und ihn dann gefühlsvoll schließe und starte; in 2 Min. fängt das ganze an zu brutzeln; im beiliegenden Heft stehen Angaben zur Temp. und Dauer. Die Platten lassen sich gut rausnehmen und dann abwischen, aber ich würde sie weder in die Spülmaschine noch ins Spülwasser legen wegen der Heizrohre und Kontakte. Ach ja, und weil die obere Platte sich leicht aus der Verankerung lösen soll, hole ich sie gar nicht mehr raus, sondern wische sie nur noch ab. Ich liebe diesen heizstarken Kontaktgrill ohne viel Schnick-Schnack. Für 2 Personen in kleiner Küche reicht er völlig!
