Ideal for small streams and short casts
RIO makes a great product. I like this line for small streams, less than 10-15 foot wide with lots of low level foliage. It cast well on my 6' 6" rod.

Performs well
Performs as expected for blue lining brookies in the Appalachian mountains. I'm really enjoying this line.

Decent line but Mediocre short game
Overall the line is pretty good. Floats well and can get a nice long cast when needed. However, paired withe my 3wt 7'6" sage pulse, it requires a bit more line out of the guides to load the rod than I would like, which can be a problem in small rivers with dense foliage restricting casting space. It may play better with a slower rod. I'll personally try over lining to a weight 4 or finding a line with more weight in the tip. All that said, I've only fished this 3 times so far and may just need more practice with it.

Great line as always by Rio!
Rio always makes a great fly line. Never can go wrong with Rio. I got this in the 3wt and love how it casts. Flies out of my guides very smoothly and can get a good distance casting. Great for not only small creeks, but lakes as well.

The line is good and works really well on small streams. However, the spool for the line is from a very cheap cardboard. It took me a while to spool the line to a reel. It is really below my expectations for the price I have paid for the line.
