Axon 7 Case, ZTE Axon 7 Case, MicroP(TM) Dual Layer Armor Hard Slim Hybrid Kickstand Phone Cover Case for ZTE Axon 7 (Gray Kickstand Case)

As cases go, this is one that doesn't add much bulk to your device. You will never find your phone to dance within this case due to the fact that it hugs every inch of your phone. The kickstand is a great plus, especially if you are one uses their phone to consume a lot of media and don't feel like leaning your device against the first flat service that can hold it. The fingerprint sensor / camera opening is great, you can easily find where to place your finger in order to unlock your phone and pictures taken with the flash are not affected at all by the case. The case is not as hard as I would have liked, and access to the 3.5mm jack is a little obstructed due to the cut of the opening. I am not sure on what is the distribution of force when facing an impact, but taking into account that I try to be very careful with my phone I hope I don't have to find out. For those few who bought this phone, you will see that there are not many cases available so this is a good option.

Looks futuristic and fantastic (I have the Quartz Gray Axon 7 model) and even got a compliment from an AT&T store employee about it.. A few concerns: I wish the malleable rubber lip that surrounds the screen would wrap around the front a little fuller and TIGHTER, making it more difficult to have that rubber peel away due to friction inside your pants pockets; etc. (i.e. jeans tugging away at the TPU border and a car key sliding against the glass in that exposed moment). All in all, however, it doesn't feel like a very secure fit. I fear if I drop it, the hard plastic outer shell will simply pop off. The weakest link, however, is the kickstand. I can't imagine it'll hold up very long at all. In my previous kickstand case (for an HTC One M7), it wasn't the prettiest case, but when you popped out the stand there was a lower slider that "locked" it in the open position. It was stable and secure enough that you could operate the volume buttons on the top edge of the phone without risking breaking the leg. The HTC One M7 case I've mentioned is very similar to this one for the Axon 7 and features that locking kickstand I've mentioned. However, it's not a very attractive case as this MicroP one. My warning: exercise caution when attempting to operate the volume or power button while propped open in kickstand mode or you WILL break its leg. This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I wrote a review a couple of years ago. ( I bought the axon7 day one) it got ran over by a Ford explorer) with this case on it. And a supershields glass screen protector. Granted the axon7 is an aluminum phone, but there was absolutely no damage to the phone. The only reason I have bought 3 is because I wanted to change colors once. The other time I broke the kickstand of one ( I am hard on phones) and beer may have been involved. And just went back to the original color I first purchased. Only thing I would say negative is that the color will wear off over time. If you are like me and just throw your phone around, let it slide across the floor, dashboard, or just get pissed and kick it down the street. But for the price.... So what buy another one. Or have a daily driver and another one you take care of. I would not wrap my phone in any other case. Hope they make one for the axon 10 pro. (if we get it in America.

This case fits surprisingly snug and is quite thin for its design. The kickstand is nice, although it's plastic design is not the most high-quality kickstand I've used, it functions well and doesn't feel cheap. I want to emphasize how nice the ribbed rubber edges are on the back. The Axon 7 is a decently sized phone, and the edges fit against your fingers while you hold the phone to prevent the phone from slipping.While the display is in fact made out of plastic, it really does look metal and classy. It doesn't look cheap at all, and I've received numerous compliments on the overall aesthetic of the case. The grey color matches perfectly with my grey Axon 7.One minor issue though is that the headphone jack cutout is on the smaller side, so bulkier 3.5mm jacks won't fit. It's not a big deal for me as I use Bluetooth earbuds, but it's something to be aware of.

Fit well and was great protection

Hated the looks of this one. A little transformer cartoonish for my preferences, but I have to give it five stars just based on the degree of impact this prevented the phone from taking any visible (exterior) physical damage.I fell down, holding my phone. Landed in the "pushup" position, sandwiching the Axon7 in this case between a tile floor and my palm with a couple hundred pounds behind it. I won't get into all the repercussions, but the main thing was that when I took it out of the case after that, before my return period expired, there was not even a hint of a dent in the case, not a scratch or crack on the screen. Amazing. If you can get past the childish aesthetics, I highly recommend this case. The kickstand works nicely too.

I was quite surprise that this case would work out so nicely. It was very inexpensive. Their is just enough rubber around the edges to keep it it from sliding out of your hands, and yet not too much so it easily slides in and out of my pockets without binding on my clothes. The case is very light and all of the openings for headphones and charger are appropriately sized. I had not trouble with headphones, charge cables or even my docking charger (also sold here). The kickstand works well but is probably the the weakest piece in the build quality. I have not had any issues with the kickstand but it would not likely survive an accident if it was extended during a fall. I highly recommend this case.
