There's one big problem with this duster: the top of it is a hard plastic end of the stem, rather than "feathers". When you're dusting along any kind of corner, e.g. where your wall meets the ceiling, you can hear the plastic scraping along the surface. I got rid of my old duster because the "feathers" no longer covered the end of this duster, but this one already has the exact same problem by design.

I read the reviews and should have believed them. This duster looks nice but as many others have said, the fact that this duster does not angle and that it has a plastic end at the tip means it is pretty useless. If you try to dust the tops of cabinets for example you will end up scratching the cabinets with the plastic top of it and there is not way to angle it so you could use the duster potion. It just is not made to dust anything vertically. I ended up purchasing a different one and not sure what I will do with this one. Do not recommend.

I had hoped that purchasing an inexpensive but high rated product would be a great deal, but unfortunately this is the most cheaply designed and built duster I've ever used. The brush screws on but has no locking latch (despite the peculiar yellow button which seems to have no purpose) so it will easily unscrew on you, often when you're trying to reach somewhere tall which might result in you getting covered in cobwebs and dust, if you're unlucky like me. The extension tool is also screw on/off so in just the first day of use, more than once the entire tube slid back in when I was trying to dust with it extended.All in all, I wish I had spent more money to guarantee I get a product that can last a while, or at least get the job done properly. :/ I suppose you get what you pay for!

I have used this a few times around the house for dusting and cobweb control. The duster works great at holding the dust in and not just wiping it off into the air. I like the head is flexible to shape making it easy to dust fan blades.I'm not sure how well this will hold up though because the two times I've used and washed it a number of the blue microfibers have fallen off. Also, the telescoping handle with the twist lock doesn't hold that well. It tends to unlock during dusting even if I tighten as much as possible by hand so that is rather annoying.If the MFG can work on improving the sturdiness this would be a perfect duster. I like the easy cleaning by removing the head and throwing in the washing machine. I let it air dry and it is ready to use in a couple hours after drying.

I've always dusted around our ceilings using a broom with a hand towel tied to it (sprayed with some windex). I pulled the Jet Clean duster out of the box and dusted every corner of the ceiling in every room in about five minutes without having to dampen the duster. Our trickiest place is above the stairs where we have trouble reaching because it was so high up, but the Jet Clean duster reached it quite easily. Slips easily below and behind furniture, refrigerators and other areas where its tough to reach the dust and cobwebs. It does a fantastic job. Lightweight and very affordable. My only qualm is with the aluminum handle--it extends a good length, but it's SO lightweight that I'm not sure it will last very long and it doesn't tighten solidly when extended--time and use will tell--but the feather duster itself is excellent. Overall, very pleased with the product.

Wow! I went around my house catching cob webs, dusting venetian blinds and edges of lampshades . . This 'dusty doodle' does a good job.Then I shook it outside and all the dust, dog and cat hair was GONE. The long wand is great for cob webs (who makes those? cobs?)I bought one or upstairs and one for main floor. No excuse now for not getting after all that dust and those cobs.

2.5 stars. You just never can trust 5 star reviews until you purchase it yourself. It's very flimsy, when you shake it outside to clean it it bends all over the place. Also, the hard plastic at the very top is not protected at all. It may look nice and fluffy, but it's not, it's thin. Be careful not to press even the slightest bit up against your walls and ceilings or you will scratch them with the top. Glad I didn't pay too much, but did pay more than it's worth. $5.00 would have been an OK price. Too much hassle to return it.

I bought this to remove dust where it accumulates on the ceilings by the AC vents. The brush itself not very full and it immediately bends when I apply pressure so I am kind of scraping the ceiling with the metal core of the brush. I like the retracting feature but the brush itself is not very good.
