Marineland Color Enhancing Goldfish Food Flakes, 9.88 Oz

I originally purchased this in a pet store when I bought goldfish a year ago. At that time, I had to break it up because my fish couldn't swallow an entire flake on their own. Now, they swallow them without thinking, and seem miffed if I try and crunch up the flakes. I guess even fish have preferences.This fish food has uniform discs that are thicker than your usual flake food. They don't break easily in the can, so you're not left with a bunch of tiny useless dust at the bottom. I appreciate that. Even if one disc escapes my fish, it doesn't break up and turn into a cloud of yuck. I've seen them take on water and get larger and softer, but no disgusting mess. Also, the fish seem to love this food. They get all splashy and excited when it's feeding time.

Fish like it, once they got big enough to eat it. They look healthy and they stay active and seam to be keeping good color. I like it cause it makes less of a mess in the tank and will not easily get sucked into the filter. They tend to hold up longer stuck to the intake grill were the fish can pick them off before they break down enough to go in a gum up the filter.

A nice big container of good quality fish food. We use it for our pond goldfish and koi instead of floating pellets when we want to give them a snack instead of a big feeding. Also for early and late season feeding.

This food is easier to use than regular flakes in that they are in the form of small round flakes that float on.The water longer, giving fish longer to eat. This helps prevent cloudy water and over feading.

Great flakes for healthy and shiny goldfish! Might have to be crumbled up for smaller goldfish. This food floats, so if you have experienced swim bladder problems, crumble flakes into container with water from the tank, and "inject" into tank with turkey baster. This is also the best price available!

This is good quality fish food at a good price delivered to your door. I like that the crisps are uniform in size and they work well in an automatic fish feeder -- dispensing not too much (as I have found with the small spherical pellets) nor too little (ununiform sized flakes can clog my feeder.

I like ground brown rice is the first ingredient and that the pellets don't fall apart and form a bunch of crumbs at the bottom of the can as it empties. Fast shipping too!

My fish both inside the house and in the outdoor pond love this food. It is also easy to feed them with and keeps my tank pretty clean. Will buy again in the future.
