Easy to install. Works great. Used it to wrap around stove pipe to protect the wall from heat.

Tested with propane torch, then placed in my ceiling to insulate gas water heater flue
The media could not be loaded. I placed the ceramic insulation to protect my ceiling from a hot gas water heater flue, then taped the insulation with aluminum tape. See picture. To be sure the ceramic worked, I used a propane torch to test how well the ceramic insulation insulated against extreme heat prior to installation in my ceiling. See video. It glowed, but did not burn. I placed my hand behind the insulation to see if the heat from the torch penetrated. I could feel no heat. Very impressive. Highly recommend.

Wrong size
This was a good product but I ordered the wrong size for my application. Too thick for my wood stove. Quality is good but I damaged it trying to make it fit.
