NJ GB-24 Gas Boiling Ring Cast Iron Burner Large Cooker LPG Stove Outdoor 8kW (Propane 37mbar Screw-on)

Intended to use this burner for wok cooking but the flame was not powerful enough which was disappointing. I checked with my local gas Centre and they suggested trying a bigger regulator. Purchased one for 13 pounds and tried it. Brilliant flame which can be controlled easily with the adjuster knob. Other than that good value for a robust and capable burner.

When the flame is on the low setting the gas blows back down to the shut off valve. I believe this to be very dangerous. I have explained this to the supplier who really does not seem to care. They have had this problem before. I am amazed amazon allow this to be sold since it is clearly an accident waiting to happen. Someone is going to get badly hurt. The supplier offered no help other than for me to send the item back at my own expense. This is simply not good enough.

When I try to control the flame by turning the dial down a bit and/or adjusting the ring around the valve I almost always get a loud blowback with the flame going out on the burner itself and then igniting at the end of the valve in where it enters the pipe to the gas ring - this can’t be meant to happen surely, feels quite dangerous ?

It is very sturdy and easy to use. The company is very easy and polite to deal with and very quick to help with any problems

Delivered on time in perfect condition and works as advertised. No problems. Great quality and if you cook stir fry in a wok it's perfect for the job!

Well made gas ring in a large size that can take even very large pots.

Big robust burner. Easy to adjust to get the best flame. Well made and built to last.
