I have to admit, this stuff smells pretty strong — definitely not something you want to sniff too closely. That said, I’ve been using it on my indoor plants and they are thriving! Leaves are greener, plants are bushier, and they just look so much healthier since I started using it. If you can handle the smell, it’s totally worth it. My plants are loving it, and that’s all that really matters!

I use this on my garden one week out of the month, with regular fertilizer two weeks of the month, and also regular bone meal. I did notice that when I use this kelp stuff, it seems to generate new roots from the base of the plant, get stronger, and producing more fruits and veggies! These things are most likely to happen during/after kelp week. This stuff goes a long way for a small bottle. It dissolves perfectly, and there is a very faint ocean smell to the water when it is mixed in. Nothing terrible smelling. i bought this a few years ago. the product is very good if you're willing to pay that much for it. the problem i have with it that it lost a star for is theyre using cheap plastic for the bottle. i know most people will use it quick enough not to care but it should be considered. since i had it sitting so long i was "shaking it vigorously" and the plastic disintegrated and the emulsion splattered over everything. now, if you've never smelled fish emulsion, you're in for a treat. if you ever smelled rancid meat, you're getting close. all over me and my garage floor... my two yorky mixes came from across the yard to try to lick it up (they LOVE the smell!). very frantic 10 minutes for me trying to clean up the garage, my clothes, my hair etc. and keep the dogs from licking the floor, as well as my shirt and pants and hair etc etc.... so.... good product but they got cheap with the plastic.

This stuff smells so terrible just want to warn everyone when they first open it DO IT OUTSIDE. But my plants seem to be thriving ever since I started using this fertilizer. I think plants may vary but all my pepper plants seem to like 1 table spoon per gallon. The first time I watered them I added 1/2 table spoons per gallon and the leaves showed signs of burning which goes to show how strong and concentrated this little bottle is. But after my 2nd watering and lowering the concentration seems to be the sweet spot and they haven’t showed any burning since

My roses, herbs and all other perennials love this stuff! Everything is growing, so many new shoots and the blooms are beautiful! So far, so good…Wish the bottle was a little bigger though!
