I was first introduced to Kewpie Mayonnaise while we were stationed at Yokota Air Force Base in Tokyo. It's so much better than American mayo, or maybe it's just different. Until I tried Kewpie, my favorite mayo was Dukes, which is great mayo. Kewpie, however, doesn't have that sharp bite to it, it's smooth, smooth, smooth!! You don't have to stir it at all, but it does come in a squeeze bottle. I use it for everything that calls for mayo, especially my favorite chicken salad. I make it with chicken breast, chopped almonds, dried cranberries, a little chicken broth and a good bit of Kewpie mayo. There is a slight, slight sweetness to it that compliments whatever you put it in, but it's not obvious at all. Yes, it's pricey, but I don't care because it's worth it to me, and I'm one of those people you see in the grocery store comparing prices per ounce!! Yeah, I'll pay for Kewpie Mayonnaise without hesitation!!

Quality ingredients, and not too spicy at all. It makes a tasty compliment to so many dishes. It is very smooth, but not oily.

I buy this for my husband and son who LOVE Kewpie Mayo. This does not taste like American Mayo but it is to them quite tasty as it has egg yolk in it. These shipped in good condition and were easy to open. While the container is soft it makes it easier to get as much out as possible and all you have to do is squeeze it on to use it. These are good quality, and seem to have good ingredients in them. If you like Kewpie Mayo the cost was definitely worth the cost. Almost forgot. there is a cute little bonus with the ones I got.. you have the standard nozzle but for a bit of fun if you take off the lid you can put your mayo on with a star pattern. its a cute versatile way to make your meals a bit more fun.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’d read so many glowing articles about Kewpie that I ordered it out of curiosity. It’s ok. Quality is good, but it’s too eggy for me. The quality is up there with Duke’s or Hellman’s; more a matter of personal taste. Have to say I’d buy this again over Duke’s. But never Hellman’s! 😊

Never have like mayonnaise but man this is a game changer. Slightly thick and mostly creamy. The flavor is really good I don't know why I prefer over American mayonnaise but I've already put it on several different things

I'm not sure how it is different from regular mayonnaise, but the flavor is distinctly different, in a positive manner. I intend to continue using it.
