Just got the .5 today, which is the minimum necessary for collagen growth. I'm using it for hyperpigmentation and mild acne scarring. The pain is tolerable, and I was even able to use it on the delicate skin around my eyes. It was more intense on my upper lip, although not enough to warrant a numbing cream. I applied an ascorbic acid solution right away, and it didn't increase the sting too much. I mix 1tsp cosmetic grade powder to 1 oz of water in a bottle, and keep my miracle solution in the fridge to keep it from oxidizing. This should be a good product to use, as well as pure hyaluronic acid. I don't want to use a product with a lot of ingredients because I'm worried about getting granulomas if foreign ingredients get trapped under my skin. Vitamin c and hyaluronic acid occur naturally in our skin, anyway. Vitamin c stimulates wound repair, and it can be applied daily to your skin. Just don't over do the derma roller or vitamin c, which is highly acidic. I'll try the derma roller every two weeks. It's like weight training- if you do it too much you will break down your muscle instead of build it up. Collagen works the same way.
