Super warm!
We've just had a real cold snap and I hardly felt it thanks to this coat; it did its job well!I love this coat's warmth. Since it mitigates my temptation to stay home when it's frigid outdoors, it's great for my social life and my professional networking. I love that it's so long and wraps my legs when I'm driving and embraces my neck with two layers of warmth. I don't even need to wear a scarf with it.Downsides:I don't feel like it is all that attractive. I'd like a different texture, something more matte (is the term "brushed?". (But on days when the temperature dips below 20 degrees, I care less about looks than being warm). It's a pain to get the zipper started and it keeps getting caught in other material as I zip it up, so it takes a long time to put it on.I really wish it could unzip from the bottom. It seems like a cheapskate decision to not put two-way zippers on any cost that's longer than waste-length.It's super heavy and bulky, so it takes up a ton of space in my tiny coat-closet and it's a pain to carry when I'm indoors.

So pleased with this coat
Oh my gosh, I am so pleased and so relieved. The coat just came in and it is really a wonder. Beautifully made, fits great, and the details are quality -- no plastic here! All of the zippers and pulls are metal and beautifully finished.I am a complete weather wimp. Cold is not my friend, so when the temps in Denver dipped below zero this week, I knew something needed to be done. Based on the reviews and photos, I decided to give this coat a try. I had never heard of the brand name so it felt like a bit of a gamble. Also, I typically fall in between Medium and Large in size, so it wasn't clear which one I should choose. I used the little size chart on the listing and chose Large. Then ordered. Then read a bunch of reviews about the coat being much too large, so I sweated it out a bit. I even tried to save every little part of the envelope when it arrived because I thought I'd have to exchange it. Happily, it fits beautifully! I am 5'5" and 155 pounds, BTW.This is so odd for me: I'm actually looking forward to the cold temps so I can really give this coat a run for the money. I am very confident it will perform beautifully.

Beautiful Storm Coat
This coat is very attractive. It does not make me look like a football player. It is nice and long. Keeps my legs warm. (I am 5'7"). I like having the cuffs. They keep the wind out of the sleeves. I like the vest piece. I think it keeps my chest warm. The outside chest pocket is very handy for my phone. It keeps me from having to go digging into my pocketbook when it rings. The sleeves are not warm enough. I wear a really warm wool seater to solve that problem. The pockets outside hand pockets are way too small. I have very small hands. I have to really work to get them it them. I like to keep my keys in there for easy access. I hesitate to make a habit out of that because the pockets will tear.On the whole, I like this coat very much.

Wonderful coat
I am so very very happy with this coat...it is the warmest and most comfortable coat that I have ever owned..it has so many special details, warm cuffs on the sleeves, an inner vest that zips up and blocks the wind and cold, an outer shell that zips up around the neck and face, plus a warm hood. There are many pockets as well. I have worn it on very cold and windy days, and had everything zipped up, and felt fine. (Part of my job is to be outside for extended periods of time, no matter what the weather) On warmer days with a bit of wind, I have only zipped the inner layer and it has been perfect! I live in the NorthEast, where the wind, dampness, chill, and weather changes so rapidly daily, and this coat adapts to every one of them. I also have to say, on a side note, that I have gotten many compliments on the look of it. I have never written a review before, but felt this coat was worthy of one! It is really my favorite coat ever.

Awesome Coat! Worth the money!
I love this coat! It is a little pricy but worth it! I read all the reviews I could find before I spent that much money and most of the reviews said that the coat was smaller than expected! I wear a medium & ordered a large and it fits just perfect! It is an amazingly warm coat it unzips on both sides at the bottom so you have plenty of leg room. It is fitted at the top so you don't look like a sack of potatoes! The hood zips off, it has several little zip pockets and a little zip up inner vest! I couldn't be happier with the coat! Thanks Amazon!!!

keeps my upper body super warm
I live in Chicago and this winter has been especially brutal. It really keeps my upper body nice and toasty, I love the fit of the hoody, it does have a draw string so I can make it nice and tight. I found that the lower part of the body, when it's a cold strong wind, it doesn't really keep me that warm, solution, put some long jons on and that does the trick. I'm 5'5" weigh 135lbs, I selected a Large as I like to wear bulky swearers. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The zipper would be more appropiate for a much lesser weight coat and having a bigger zipper with bigger teeth would be so much
I would have given this five starts if the main zipper was a heavy duty. The zipper would be more appropiate for a much lesser weight coat and having a bigger zipper with bigger teeth would be so much easy to manipulate - because the coast is so heavy it takes alot of work to scrunch up the coat to get the little zipper slotted to zip.

Warm
This is a good (little expensive) cold, windy weather coat. However, for a tall person, with long arms and thin, the large I first got was way too big but good in the sleeve length. As I suspected, the medium I got in place of the large was not quit long enough for me, even though it fit else where. The zippers also have spots you must be careful not to catch the material.
