Irreplaceable

We deny the importance of traditional marriage and stable family life at our peril.
Beginning in the 1960s there has been a relentless attack on the traditional family. The results have been devastating. This film addresses the importance of re-establishing the status of the family as the basis of our society. Children need the nurture and structure that stable, intact families provide, but also, so does the nation. Traditional marriage is irreplaceable. Very informative and thought-provoking.

Marriages and Families - Worth the Fight
It stirred up my heart making me feel "restless" urging me to do something to fight for healthy marriages and families, whose key ingredient is the love of God in each one of us. The host felt convicted at the end of his journey and so did I. I cannot do much but I can do something with God's strength and hope to positively influence one person in my circle at a time. One inmate in the film testified, "I came to prison and found freedom" because she found Jesus there.

This is such a great DVD. My daughter and I cried the first time we watched it. I recommend this amazing film as often as I can, through discussions with friends and students who are interested in child development and family studies.

Good information and documentation but I don't think there was a real need to show the scenes of the "seedy side of life" or certainly not as lengthy a showing.

Worth the time.
It is a documentary, and had a bit of a slow start. We watched it with friends. We found ourselves drawn into it, and stopping it to discuss what had been said. There were certain parts that had different people sniffling, as the truths related to our own lives. There is a lot of thoughtful truth packed into this. I do highly recommend it; especially for parents of small children, or parents to be. That being said, even single folk will get something out of this. It is about relationships, and where things go wrong. Watch it.
