Although they did not fit my engine, this is not the products fault. The studs themselves are good quality steel and the threads lock just fine with the nuts.

Bought these to install a hybrid turbo on a 207 GTI.Only used 1 stud but the nuts are excellent and hold great with no slackening off under high temperature.Great VFM

I fitted these to the engine block of my car for the exhaust manifold - the nuts supplied with them were great as they had a washer inside that meant the studs would be tightened into the block before the washer splayed out inside the nut at the point they were tight, thus allowing the nut to tighten up on the exhaust manifold.Unfortunately due to the quality of the material that these stud bolts were made from, upon doing them hand tight and torquing them up (to no more than 25nm), two of the nuts began rotating but not getting to the point of torque required - when checked, the studs had sheared from the rotation and I had to use a stud removal tool to get them out. If I had overtightened them then I could understand but I didn’t get them much more than being hand tight.My advice is save yourself the messing about and buy genuine stud bolts from the car manufacturer made of a more homogenous metal. These shouldn’t have sheared off like this from such little force.Amazon informed and refund processed.
