Works great
My daughter has been dying for a black jean jacket. We found some for $6 but they were light blue. But if figure for $6 she could test the waters and see what she could come up with. The dye soaked into the fabric nicely. I brought some water to almost a boil, added dish soap and salt and an entire bottle of this dye. Dropped the jacket in and stirred it really well. Stirred the jacket like I was storing a giant pan of soup for like an hour or so. Took it out and rinsed with cold water. Threw them in the washer with an old towel. Washed them a few times getting as much dye out of it as I could. And it’s still pretty saturated with black. It dyed evenly and she loves them. I’ll also add that I dyed one jacket at a time. Brought the dye soup back to almost a boil for the second one and they both looked the same with great saturation.

Works for me.
Unfortunately a lot of the clothes I buy only come in colors I hate. So, I use this frequently to dye things black or gray depending on how well the dye holds.I have only used the black dye. Keep this in mind when reading my review.I use this to dye jeans, cargo pants, cargo shorts, and shirts. Most of which are cotton/poly blend. It always ends up blackish instead of black, and a few washes later its a dark gray. It does fade fast but it will stop fading after a few washes. This might be due to the polyester content of my clothes.I used this to dye woodland camo shorts into urban black/grey camo shorts. I did the same thing to some light grey/khaki camo pants which turned into a grey and black camo.I used this to die a white cotton/poly tshirt but it ended up being light grey. The stitching stayed white. It looked pretty neat honestly.I used this to die light gray jeans into almost black or very dark gray jeans.I used 4 bottles for 2 pairs of jeans. This might be overkill. I dont really know what im doing.
