Works really well.
I love everything about this board but I wishe it was a little wider. I would have liked to have it go further in on the counter but other than that it works great. It is heavy, cleans well and so much easier than what we had that kept moving around.

I received two of these for Christmas from my son. We had just gotten a new stove and I still had raggedy OLD metal burner covers. These bamboo burner covers are wonderful. I have not used them as a cutting board because they just look so nice I don't want to mess them up, however I have set greasy pot tops and food on them. I thought they would leave a mark but so far some soapy water on a dish cloth took the grease stain right out. They compliment my kitchen decor and I LOVE the extra counter space when cooking or bringing in bags of groceries. I really only use on side of the cook top so I simply stack one on top of the other on the side I don't use when I am using the range top. I have had numerous people ask me where I got them and referred them to this product. They are very sturdy, and come in very handy to set food on when cooking, such as cheese slices when making grilled cheese etc. They can be positioned to have a gap between them or pushed together close to create an unbroken larger space. I almost lost one of the little rubber feet that are on each corner so they do not scratch the stove top surface but a tiny bit of glue took care of that. Very nice item and would be a wonderful wedding or house warming gift. These are great for anyone who has a small kitchen or likes to have ingredients handy at the stove. They look very nice when not in use. I keep a wax burner on my other side and it's a nice place to use it since it heats up. Very glad I received a pair of these as a gift, I'm sure they will last a very long time!
