Pads are not the highest quality.
I received the item and the shirt is a compressing type that sticks to your body. This means preparing to be very warm or even hot on some days. The pads are decent but good enough to provide less pain when diving etc. The pads have good coverage and wrap around your whole shoulder and the chest area but wish they were a little higher quality.

Works Great! Get smaller size
I'm 5'10", 270 lbs, dad bod build. I usually would go with XL, but I went with Large because of the timing. Tight fit and the pads lined up exactly where I need them. Playing keeper in a rec league, I'm rolling and diving all over the turf. With some shorts on top, you can't go wrong!
