NASA would approve
The kids loved if. I almost went crazy trying to assemble it - but it is a puzzle after all. I’m shocked how well it worked when you got it all put together. Fun family activity- especially to get the family away from screens. Keep in mind that some of the pieces are very small, thin, and fragile- so may want to supervise younger kids under the advised age.

Looks daunting at first but was a blast to put together!
The packaging was very well put together and they supplied plenty of extra parts to help put the model together. The instructions were easy to follow and even my seven-year-old was able to help create the track system. He received this from his grandparents as a Christmas gift and while it was a little too advanced for him to put together, he did enjoy helping out with the easy pieces. Once complete he was raving at how much fun it was to watch the balls in action. He hasn't stopped talking about it to his friends.

A Fun Build!
I was torn regarding how to rate this kit, so I gave it a 4 star because of the few CONs I listed below. PROs: 1. Use of acrylic parts added a very nice touch to the look and functionality of this kit. 2. Metal axels ensured smooth operation of various aspects of this kit and providing a tool to align the axel ends was a great aid. 3. The handle and arm that makes the run work provided a very smooth operation. 4. The use of screws and pre-colored parts made for a very attractive and unique build. 5. Kit contained many wooden spare parts along with screws, axels and axel ends. 6. Great storage place on the model to keep the metal balls (a rail around the two levels of storage would prevent the balls from moving). I used some of the spare wood to build such a retaining rail, an easy addition. CONs: 1. The stained black wood pieces' top layer of plywood is fragile and several pieces had to be glued back as they split of the underlying wood. 2. Some of the steps are not as well illustrated to ensure you do not install pieces the wrong way. 3. Many of the wood rails that guide the ball down the run needed to be CA glued to their supporting piece as some would not stay in place. 4. Some of the pieces could have used thicker and better quality plywood which would have made them stronger. Knowing the above CONs should make for an improved build. With a little tweaking after finishing the kit, it put a smile on my face as it now works perfectly. Enjoy your build.

It’s made in China, so there’s that…,
A technical puzzle. Fun to assemble. It is made in China, so don’t expect the manufacturing quality to be as good as it could be.

Almost pretty awesome.
Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed in the product. It’s almost a really good marble run. The run design is great. The quality/ ease of assembly/ fitment/ sturdiness of the pieces resulted in many broken parts, tons of frustration, and in the end something that resembles the finished product but is not usable the way it is advertised. Some of the features simply don’t work and some require a bit of coaxing to keep it moving. It may be that it requires a lot of patience and a very gentle approach to assemble. But I think it’s nearly impossible to assemble flawlessly without breaking some pieces. The fitment of pieces is not the best design. Have lots of glue and patience on hand. Not recommended for younger kids. My advanced 10 year old struggled with it as did his dad! Also missing one screw for the handle and I ended up creating a work-around/ using my own hardware.

Very nice item
This item very cool. I bought it to my husband, a Christmas gift. He was so excited and opened after receiving it. It’s good quality, very well packed, cool looking, strong and working well. The instructions was very clear and detailed, easy to follow. There were many extra items if you mistakenly broke some tiny parts. Love this one. Worth the money! Thanks to the seller.

Requires A LOT of Patience - Tons of Tiny Little Pieces
I don't understand how this got such glowing reviews. People that like this project must have the patience of a saint, and the "stick-to-it" persistent attitude of a stubborn goat. I got this as a Christmas gift for my 16 yr old daughter. Both of us have ADHD so maybe that's why it was hard for us. There are a "million" little pieces you have to push out of the wood sheets, then you have to put all these little pieces together. The instructions are pictures only, no words. There are some pieces we could not figure out how to put together because the picture only shows one angle and we needed more than one angle in order to see how to put the pieces together. So because we couldn't get past that part we couldn't move forward with the puzzle. A waste of $50.

Assembly more fun that marble machine
I loved this, from the hunting through the slates to find the part you need, to sanding all the pieces to perfection, to the firm yet delicate way you press the wood together. Loved it, wish I could take it apart to do it again. Side thoughts: really look at the instructions closely. I found parts that look very similar but are in fact different sizes. Also, going back can be rough, the wood isn’t as snug and the orings are almost impossible to get of without a lot of force. So go slow and really pay attention.

I want to give this a five star but i didn't like the quality of the wood, specifically the white ones, hard to put in place with the other parts specially the slides, I preferred the black wood as it was easier to install. Another issue is the manual, some illustrations are not clear on the installation instructions and I had to look at the next one to understand. In addition, it was really painful to install the parts together, I had to stop because it became too painful to continue. Last thing, the installation is really unnecessarily complicated, I had to look really hard on how to put some pieces together. I hope you either use better quality woods or different materials like the acrylics included.

Fun to assemble, but pay attention to the instructions, and be careful some parts can break easily, but can be glued back together.
