great shape and great quality.
This is the tip that comes with the unit, and is still in my mind the most useful in daily applications. As far as I've been able to tell, how long the tip lasts is mostly dependent on what you use as flux, since some of them seem to tarnish the material in seconds and others seem to not affect it at all. At this point I almost always just have 600 or 800 grit sandpaper on hand to remove the oxidation from the flux and it keeps the tip just about good as new, so I seldom have to buy another one. Of course in time the whole thing gets oxidized to the point where it really isn't efficiently transferring heat anymore, which to me is just about yearly. I can afford to buy a new one of these once or twice a year.

Insist on real Weller tips
Ordered genuine Weller tips as shown in the photos but received aftermarket ones. No Weller bag. No Weller lettering on the tip.

Good quality
Bought these as a replacement for OEM tip, can't say how these will hold up but the original tip is going strong after many connections. Clean easy with just a wipe and conduct the heat like you expect. I worked in electronics for 40 years and used many Weller irons and tips, when I needed a new iron I went with a proven brand.
