Bought two cheese slicers, this one and the Osti 01. Both work great. This one slices very thin and the Osti slices thick.

It looks beautiful, but it works terribly. I can't get it to slice, no matter what angle I hold it at, no matter what kind of cheese, no matter how much pressure I use. I'm fed up.

I love this cheese slicer! I had been looking for one for a long time. As for the softer cheeses, it works best if the cheese is cold, straight from the fridge. Hard cheeses no problem. Great slicer!
