Unusable for clothes
I received some kind of bamboo pegs that are very tight and leave marks on both sides of the clothes ruining them.

I use these wooden clothes pins for chip clips. And these particular clothes pins are really good. They are long and the pinch is strong. In fact, they are the strongest wooden clothes pins I've purchased in years. Fully recommend these no matter what your use! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

These clothes pegs are just as you'd expect them to be, at a good price in a nice big pack. I've been using them for awhile now and they're holding up great. Feel good quality and I like the natural wooden look. I've been using them both for hanging clothes to dry, and to clip food bags shut to maintain freshness haha (I find the clips that are actually designed for that purpose are so expensive, too bulky, and always seem to break easily). These have worked great for both purposes.

I thing the pegs should work just fine for hobby work. However I use them for cloth hanging. For that they are of inferior quality. The problems lies in the spring where material was skipped by spacing out the turns of the spring steel. This means that the peg easily comes apart if lateral pressure is applied eg. when the thoumb and fingers pinching the peg are not perfectly lined up. A problem that could easily be fixed by using a tighter spring "like in the old days".
