Yes, Flair Espresso Makers can be used for tea, but the PRO 2 version features a fully bottomless portafilter, which means that it is very likely that no resistance can be built in the puck even with finely ground tea leaves. Most users will prefer the Flow-Control Portafilter found on the Flair NEO for tea brewing, as this generates pressure automatically in the portafilter and will strengthen the steep of the tea.

How do you do ‘back to back’ shots...what is the actual process and time frame to make two espressos in a row for two people?

Hello! Thanks for your question. The Flair PRO 2 features a removable brew head, so if you'd like to brew back to back shots, you can remove the brew head, dump the grounds from the portafilter, and refill for your second shot. Alternatively, if you'd like to purchase a second portafilter, sold separately, you can remove the first portafilter and add the second to your already preheated brew chamber, and proceed with the shot. Back to back brewing is easier with the Flair 58 system.

Is this machine NSF certified?

The Flair is not NSF certified, but we are currently going through the certification process and hope to be soon!
