Better than bigger brands
Great quality, over 2 months in it's still working great. It was cheaper than a lot of alternatives - and it's at a great size, perfect for any mid - large enclosure. Feels durable enough and produces an excellent amount of heat. Highly recommend

Great bulb
The media could not be loaded. I feel kind of silly because I was unaware UV basking lamps existed. We are really happy with the purchase and will certainly get another one for the other side of the vivarium in a smaller wattage when it’s time. Bravo

Tortoises seem to like them
Since Covid we’ve had the tortoises move out of their tanks and live in the main family room. We’ve been using just regular red infra bulbs to let them warm up in two areas and they liked them. However decided as they are now full time residents when not out in the garden and don’t like going into their tanks now that we would get them some full spectrum lights to make sure they get heat and vitamin production. At first they were not too keen but after a couple of days they love them and spend more time basking now than before so they must be feeling the benefit of these bulbs. Recommend you let them cook for 15 min before putting them back on as we thought one had blown on day 2 but it had just cut out due to the temp and because we had turned it on and off and on again in a short space of time.

This light dose everything you need for your pet in just one bulb you must use this light with a metal shade it’s perfect for tortoise kept in a table aquarium

Very dull compared to other brands.
The bulb is smaller than the Exo Terra one I usually buy and because of this covers a lot less area. It also seems exceptionally dull and not very bright at all for a 125w. Not as much heat generated either. If I hadn’t broken the box down it would have been going back to Amazon.
