I bought two of these to make a complete frame. They came with middle support brackets but I didn’t use those. I bought these in order to make my own punch needle frame and these are very sturdy and are the perfect size I needed.

Exactly what I needed. Easy to assemble. Comes with the center cross part and a small screw for the center.

I ordered the 16" and 21" lengths which arrived separately but were the same manufacturer. They don't join flush at the canvas edge and there were two pieces with voids at the edge. I would not buy again or recommend.

The boards were made well but the cross bars were poorly made.The slots were not made deep enough to fit properly.

The included cross brace doesn't fit the stretcher bars upon initial assembly without the "keys" slotted in. But then slotting the keys in pushes apart the assembled stretcher bars. It's a poorly designed system, not built to precision, and cheaply made. When I put one of the keys in and then had to press the bar corners back together, the key snapped because it's so thin. There are no instructions with the product other than a sentence on the label which mentions nothing of the key system -- if I hadn't went back and read the description again on Amazon I would have thrown them away thinking they were just cheap scrap wood left over from the notches on the braces. I wasted an hour trying to force this system to work but then just decided to return it.
