Works like new
Did we ever luck out. We have a Food Saver V3825 that is 17 years old. Wasn't sealing well at all because the bottom band, which is foam, had dried out. The top band is rubber and that doesn't show any wear. So I replaced the bottom foam band and miracle of miracles, this machine seals as good as new.

Part works perfectly
We bought these to replace the seals in our older food sealer that had stopped holding a vacuum. These solved the problem, and it performs well now!

They Work Well
These replacement seals do the job. I do wish they fit in the channels a little more snugly, but so far the upper seal has stayed in place without issue. I've also noticed that after some down time, the first bag is slightly more difficult to insert for sealing, but after that, the subsequent bags insert fine. One thing to note is that the original seals were glued in place and came out in pieces, requiring a little extra effort to clean the channels out well enough for the new ones.

Description says it fits 3400 foodsavers and it does, but that’s not the whole story
I have a v3485 foodsaver, and it decided to stop sealing after vacuuming . On researching this I realized it was probably the gasket (the vacuum progress light wasn’t lighting up either). The problem is this unit does not have removable gaskets (having green tabs to open the unit seems to be the indicator for this - if they are grey, the gaskets should be removable.). However, it wasn’t working so I thought it worth trying to remove and replace at least the top gasket. So I started to remove the top gasket. Sure enough it’s glued into place but I got most of it out using a sharp knife. Then I used WD40 and a lot of cotton swabs to dissolve the remaining foam and adhesive. It might have been easier to have used a plastic safe glue solvent, but I had the WD40 so… Installed the new gasket.Did not glue it in - I may yet do that but it’s seems to be staying in on its own, and most importantly, it’s now working fine. Vacuum progress light on and everything. I don’t think I will be able to replace the bottom gasket (it’s flush with the surface) but if it stops working again I’ll try prying that out also. It’s a better alternative than simply throwing the entire unit away.Note to people buying any kind of vacuum sealer - make sure the gaskets are removable, these are the parts that fail most frequently. So I didn’t need 4 but I’m sure I will have occasion to use the rest of them over time.

Saved my favorite FoodSaver
I had a few Foodsavers over the years. My V2860 model is my favorite. It was still working but it stopped auto-sealing last year. I had to manually hit the seal button which allowed the bag to get back in some air.I had already started looking for this same model online but all I found was pre-owned and looked in worse shape than mine. I read that replacing the gaskets can fix the problem. I figured I had nothing to lose so I ordered them. At first, they did not work, I put a new gasket in the lower part and I thought the upper took a gasket too. The machine would not close right and did not seal. Feeling a bit defeated I thought I would remove the upper gasket I installed and tried again. The FoodSaver made a seal that actually was too hot to touch ( this has not happened since it was brand new). I then placed food into the bag and held my breath. Hit that vacuum button and then I heard the angels sing. Not only did it vacuum but it was a super tight vac and then it sealed on its own after maybe 30 seconds!!!!! You know that real tight seal when you buy a package of bacon? I got the same seal on a steak! It works as if it were brand new, and I am thrilled. If you are having a problem with your Food Saver before you give up and toss it, try changing out the gasket. To be honest, I am still not sure if my model takes only one gasket or two, but it's working fantastic with the one so I am happy.

Looks are deceiving.
Ordered these because they said it would work in my FoodSaver. They look good, good material, fit good in the slot. However when going to use the FoodSaver to see if it fixed the vacuum issue. Could not get the bag to go all the way in to trigger the unit to vacuum and seal. After multiple attempts, took the new seal back out and could see that they were too thick. Went to Walmart and bought the actual FoodSaver brand seals. Put both side by side and could see the ones ordered from amazon was just a hair too thick. Put the new FoodSaver seal in the unit and had no issues putting the bags in and activated the vacuum process. The product looks good but it doesn’t work like it’s supposed too. They were so cheap cost wise it’s not worth the trouble to return. Just a lesson learned.
