Fits nicely for my purpose and my dogs aren't bothered by it. My one dog is diabetic and blind so I can't introduce a radical change or he trips over it. This large bone-shaped mat fits the food bowl and sort of the water dish, which is raised off the floor. He and his buddy can make quite a mess with the water dish and this mat stops it from ruining the wood flooring. Well, it's already ruined since we discovered how water had leaked under the previous flat mat. Now I have to bleach the maple hand-scraped dark flooring, sand it gently, re-stain it, seal it with semi-gloss and hope the damage will disappear, What a pain.Anyway, I wanted to emphasize that this is not a tray. When it gets water in it you can't just pick it up and dump it in the sink. It is, however, a very flexible silicone mat that excels at collecting food and water spilled onto it by pets. I've attached a pic of the new mat, and one of the previous damage caused when water seeped under the old tray.

Let me start by saying my dog tears up EVERYTHING in site. He is a chewer 100%. He has yet to try this...two months later.It’s super easy to clean. I rinse, scrub it off with barely any force, let it dry, boom.Also, the messes this thing picks up make me sick to know that those are the same messes that used to be on my floor that I just couldn’t see :/

I like that the color is pretty accurate what you see is what you get. I have a English bulldog puppy and she is prone to chewing so far she hasn’t tried attacking her new mat she seems to like it and not bother with it chewing wise. The bone shape is absolutely adorable and it holds both my medium size ceramic dog bowls on it without a space issue. I recommend this product and love how easy it is to wash and dry!

Actually, I bought this for my dog, who is only 8 pounds. The mat is edged with an elevated lip to keep kibbles from rolling over the floor. The lip is too high and uncomfortable for a small dog to step on [accidentally]. I gave the mat to my friend with a Golden Doodle and it works perfectly for her dog. Maybe make the mat in a small dog size with a lower edge?

Let’s face it, my dog must have pig in his breeding. He makes a huge mess when he eats. I thought this mat would help keep his feeding area cleaner but it doesn’t. He still pushes his dishes around when he eats and now his food is smeared all over the mat rather than on the floor. At least I can pick up the mat and clean it off in the sink. There’s nothing wrong with the mat, it just didn’t do what I was hoping it was going to do.

Nice but probably not for people with hard water. It’s cute and seems very durable, holds the dog bowls and the edges are great to contain messy food bits. But, ours looks terrible due to our water which may not be fair to assess, just want to warn others with same water conditions.

I wasn't sure what to expect and was looking for a mat to use when we travelled. I'm actually going to keep this one for home, it's much nicer than I thought it would be. It's thick with edges that should hold everything in. Even though it came rolled up it lays flat without any work. Very nice product for the price!

I had one of these style of mats already but needed another one for upstairs so I ordered this. It’s brilliant and actually much better quality than my original ( it’s slightly thicker and more robust). So why are they so good. Well they are made of silicone rubber and are very easy to clean.. I just wash them by hand in the washing up bowl with soapy water and give them a shake outside and pop it over the radiator to dry off or I use kitchen towel if I’m putting it straight down again. The most brilliant thing about this style of mat is it has a small lip around the edge so if you have a dog who is enthusiastic when they drink all the splashes and dribbles stay inside the mat and off your floor. They are big enough to take a food and water bowl but I use it just for the water. Upstairs it’s on a carpeted floor and I’ve never had any spillages. I quite simply wouldn’t have any other style of mat and have recommended this to my friends and family. It looks a bit expensive compared to ordinary dog mats but it’s absolutely worth every penny to save your flooring from water stains and for keeping carpets clean and dry.

After reading mixed reviews, I ordered this mat for my dog. The packaging was good but the mat itself is very thin. I can see the pattern of my kitchen flooring through it. For this reason alone I feel that the price paid is way too high. Also my dogs food bowl is too big therefore won’t sit flat.

For keeping pets dinner food in one area, nice easy colour for failing eye sight on old pet. Very good item, it's why I brought both Blue and Orange. Speedy delivery, wished all sellers did that. Would recommended. My only problem with this is where to store to keep flat.

I had to return this immediately. I was attracted by the cute design but it’s thinner than I expected. The photos gave me an impression that the particular colour I ordered (orange) would be a lot more solid but actually it wasn’t the case. I was disappointed it looked cheapish, especially for the price. I would expect better quality from the original price of £26.

A lot thinner than I expected (but I think that's me not understanding how thin silicone is!) but even more perfect for the job. The silicon almost "pools" any spilt water and it has a small lip around the edge which ensures nothing spills off the mat and onto the floor
