Great consistent flavor!
We smoked a nice spatchcock chicken on a PitBoss and used this rub, mixing it in Mayo to cover the bird. A dry-try, the rub has a combination of sweet and salty flavors. Some may find it salty but it cooks well in the smoker. We’ve smoked 4 chickens using this rub and the flavors are pretty consistent. The family enjoyed it!

The chicken was very tasty with the Rub adds a good flavor and color for the chicken after cooking from the oven.

Like Kosmosq Dirty Bird... Except
It taste exactly like Kosmosq Dirty Bird except less sweet. If I were to remake this.... I'd use salt, sugar, hickory, chili powder, black pepper, garlic and a little more. Great for chicken and pork.

Can use as chicken or pork rub
Used this for smoked pulled chicken and for smoked pork loin chops. Added a good flavor to both. A trace of heat here and there, but not exactly hot. Will be using for baby back ribs next. Rather bulky, and packaging not great, the inner bag was completely split but the outer bag held the contents. One will need to transfer to some kind of container immediately on opening. Did discolor my synthetic cutting board, even after a dishwasher cycle.
