Amazing Little Stainless Steel Pot
Anyone reading this review should take it with a grain of salt, as I haven't actually used this pot yet, but just out of the box: this little pot with its nestled bowl is just phenomenal. For one thing, it's absolutely gorgeous, stainless steel polished to a mirror sheen. The handle of the pot folds neatly over the lid (between the wire handles of the lid) and clasps securely on the other side, leaving everything beneath snug and safe. There is a thick pan/bowl inside the pot, beneath the lid, which can be removed and used for eating a meal. The pot, itself, is 14cm in diameter and rather deep--it looks like a very sturdy and nice-sized stovetop pan. I bought it after reading up on Zebra Thailand's reputation as a producer of exceptional stainless steel cookware, and being enthralled by the prospect of packing this little gem into a knapsack (outfitted with dehydrated food) as part of an emergency 'go bag' ensemble. I also purchased it to see about what size the 14cm Zebra tiffin bowls might be, as I have been up in the air as to what size/tier lunchbox I wanted to get. (After seeing this lovely 14cm pan I realized that I personally would prefer a slightly larger tiffin for general use, a 16cm-size.)UPDATE (5/2015): Well, it looks like this little stainless steel pot isn't going to become part of a go-bag! My husband has decided that it is perfect as an unconventional tiffin within which he can carry his food to work (breakfast--an omelette--and a snack in the pan under the lid; lunch in the bigger belly of the pot below). The pot, itself, has proven to be a worthy tool on the stovetop, as well, reheating his lunches very nicely as needed. Highly recommended!!

Great little food/lunch carrier, and doubles as a pot too.
What's not to like about this little food carrier/pot? This is just about the perfect size, 14 cm diameter, for people who want to take a lunch to work or school. it is very sturdy and in a jiffy can be used as a small pot. The construction is completely solid, the stainless steel used is quite thick and has a great mirror finish on it. It has a sturdy latch which secures the wired pot handle. All pieces are nicely welded together, even the sticker is nicely placed not crooked.Since it is metal, it will not harbour any funny smells or stain like plastic. It is not water tight, but can carry a thicker liquid, say a curry or stew. It also has an inner plate/dish, which is handy if you want to separate different foods from touching. I will say that you could take out the plate/dish, and the top will still latch close, but not as tightly. All in all a great lunch carrier.

Be careful when pouring
This is a great little pot. I like it. I like the additional pan that nests in the top. Great quality however. The handle doesn't lock for pouring. When I turned it side ways to pour my food on to a plate the pot swung toward the handle where my hand was and hot food and metal went into my hand. It should be redesigned with a more secure handle.

Is it a cook pot, or a lunch box... ITS BOTH!
I've had this pot since November of 2021, and it is a part of my kitchen, whether I am camping or at home. It is extremely well built and durable. The handle that secures the lid is still tight when I lock it up. I've cooked many a bag of ramen in mine, and its perfect. That's hard to say about things today, but this little pot/lunch box is to me at least the perfect size for so many things. With the inner tray you have a two tiered pot so you can carry a two part lunch easy. Or store stuff in the pot when you go camping. All in all, if this one go pear shaped, I will buy another one. Very much worth the money.

Great as a lunchbox or pot - truly worth 5 stars
This might be one of a few items on Amazon that truly deserves 5 stars in both quality and value for your money.I have been using this for the past month as a lunchbox because plastics are a no-no and glass containers break easily (Pyrex is almost all fake now and the ones that aren't have terrible lid quality). It has an excellent seal *ONLY if you keep the mini-pan inside. Otherwise there is a slightly larger gap, though the pan is a big chunk of the weight. Nonetheless the whole thing only weighs about 1 lb. which is on par or less than glass containers. One small con is that the seal is NOT perfect. Depending on how you carry the pot, anything that shoves against the lid can cause very small amounts of liquid (if your food has any water content) to seep through. Do not use it to carry soup! The stainless steel is well made and the entire locking mechanism is a thing of beauty. The handle folds over the whole thing and the side clip snaps shut with a satisfying click. Not made for backpacking but a great choice for day to day meals.

I sure wish I had known about the Billy Pot before now.
They don't make stainless steel like this anymore. This is a quality piece that will last a life time. While I am not a camper and probably will never use it for that, I will be using it inside my 6 quart Instant Pot and the fit is PERFECT for PIP "Pot in Pot". It is large enough for two people to eat. I love the fact that even though it is lunch box it can also be used as a pot for cooking. The securing handle doubles as a pot handle. Plus you get the freebie of the stainless steel bowl, which allows you to cook in both places at the same time or use the blow as a plate. Get one, you won't be disappointed. There is enough space to prepare a meal for two people.I purchased something similar from India for double the price and not near as great of quality and it wasn't marked stainless steel.

Arrived damaged.
I'm stuck in a bind I needed it for this weekend. I'm sure it still works fine but it arrived damaged. Otherwise it's good looking and nice stainless steel, just got it from Amazon locker minutes ago.
