Not Completely Flat
Used it once an noticed that the bottom isn't flat. Its concaved so doesn't sit completely flat. The only points that firmly contact the drywall is where the handle connects at each end.

Great tool
I bought this on a whim, as I usually buy Marshalltown Tools. However, the handle appeared very large and comfortable so I took a chance and was very pleasantly surprised by how nice a sander this is.
