An upgrade over a similar Kwikset model
This handleset replaced a similar looking Kwikset model with a round handle that only lasted about 2 years. Wish I had spent the extra money and started out with this Schlage Camelot. It's immediately obvious upon comparing the internal mechanisms that the Camelot is a better design, operates more smoothly, and more rugged. I also prefer the interior lever over a round handle because it is easier to use if you are carrying something when opening or closing the door.
