Light, but works for my purposes
This little tarp is great. My SO and I bought it to use as a footprint under our backpacking tent and it fits absolutely perfectly. For those who may be considering this for other uses, might want to note that this tarp is thinner and feels more “flimsy” and light than other tarps of this kind that I have used before. For our purposes, that was a welcomed surprise, because we wanted something as lightweight as possible and easily compressed to fit in a backpack. Works great and if it rips/tears will definitely just buy again because it’s inexpensive.

trap
it keeps us from seating on the ground. It is just the right size.

Sturdy but incorrect size
I purchased this item because I had intended on cleaning my blinds with a water pressure and needed a tarp to place my blinds on. So far it seems to work well and held up with the water pressure blasting on them. I will say, I’m pretty sure as others might have mentioned, that this wasn’t a true 5x7 size, but it was big enough to place my blinds on.

Long lasting!
These tarps were purchased for outside use. They are just the right size and are used under plants and on workbenches so the rain does not ruin the tables underneath them. They work very well and last the whole summer season. I live in a hot climate with the sun beating down on them almost daily and they last sometimes even for a second season. Will purchase again.

Tarp is thin and poor quality
I agree with other posters here who say the tarp is very thin. I purchased two 5x7 tarps. One was a heavy duty 16 mil (A "mil" is a unit of thickness equal to one thousandth of an inch (. 001 inch)) tarp and the other was this one. I held both up to a lamp to see how much light gets through. The photo on the left is the heavy duty tarp. It blocks the light uniformly. But this tarp does not because it's thinner. It looks like the manufacturer placed strips of a dark colored material which maybe plastic on the tarp but those strips were unevenly placed which you can see in the photo on the right (this tarp). Those places where the extra strips were not placed on the tarp look thinner and lets more light through.
