Cute Mandalas: Get Coloring, Have Fun

This is an absolute adorable coloring book.

Not really a mandala person but this one was so fun and cute! Found that it works great with most mediums but I love this paper for my water based markers because the paper is smooth so there is minimal pilling. I buy a lot of coloring books but easily get overwhelmed. This is a book that takes all the pressure of tiny details and/or perfectionism out of the mix and allows you to just have fun and be creative. Keep this one on my desk..highly recommend😊😊

I bought my granddaughters each a copy of Cute Mandalas. They loved the books! There is a hidden object in each mandala that is subtle and relates to the picture. They are full of super cute critters and fun to color, even for adults.

36 EINseitig bedruckte Ausmalseiten. Das Papier ist weiß, glatt und dick. Größe: 21,34x21,59cm. Dieses Malbuch ist, dafür, dass es für Kinder gedacht ist, überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Das fängt bei den bunt gestalteten Buchklappen an, geht weiter bei den ebenso farbenfroh daherkommenden Titel-, Impressum-, Eigentümer-, Künstlervorstellungs- und Tippseiten. Die rückwärtige Buchklappe - so wird es dort angeführt - soll angeblich als ausfaltbare Staffelei funktionieren, aber das ist Humbug. Das Ding gibt nach, wenn man darauf ein Papier legt und zu malen beginnt, offensichtlich! Auf der linken Leerseite neben jeder rechten Ausmalseite, befindet sich ein kleines Kästchen rechts unten, das jeweils einen kleinen Hinweis auf ein im Motiv verstecktes Objekt gibt, immer aufgepeppt durch eine kleine zum Thema passende Illustration. Die Mandalas sind durchgängig herzallerliebst. Es handelt sich dabei nicht um klassische Mandalas, sondern um, zu verschiedenen Themen zusammengesetzte kreisförmig angeordnete Bildkompositionen. Da findet sich - sehr passend - ein Mandala zum Thema Malen, Zeichnen und Kreativität, eines zum Thema Sommer, Meerestiere, Burger & Co, Geister, Herbstblätter, Frühling, Blumen mit Marienkäfern, Früchte, exotische Vögel und Pflanzen, Donuts, Dinos, die putzigsten Einhörner, die man sich nur vorstellen kann, Eicheln, Edelsteine, Luftballons, Bienen uvm. Den Abschluss bildet ein 3-seitiger Bild-Index aller Motive mit den Hinweisen auf die versteckten Objekte. Ein fantastisches Feature weist dieses tolle Büchlein noch auf, und zwar sind ab der zweiten (!) Ausmalseite alle Seiten mit einer praktischen Perforationslinie ausgestattet. Dass die erste Ausmalseite NICHT damit versehen wurde, dürfte wohl ein Produktionsfehler sein.Buchbindung: Neben der Tatsache, dass man die Ausmalseiten bequem aus dem Buch herauslösen kann, ist es auch noch perfekt gebunden. Zielpublikum: Das angeführte Alter von 8-12 Jahren kann ich nur unterschreiben. Schwierigkeitsgrad: Anfänger.Fazit: Dieses liebevoll zusammengestellte Malbüchlein ist ideal für Kinder, und so mancher Erwachsene wird auch seine Freude daran haben. Bis auf die Tatsache, dass die erste Ausmalseite ohne Perforationslinie daherkommt, ist die Ausstattung perfekt! Dickes Papier, einseitig bedruckte Ausmalseiten, liebevoll ausgewählte und kindgerechte Motive, Format gerade richtig. Herz, was will man mehr! Das ergibt summasummarum 4 fast perfekte Sterne!

Pages are one-sided and makes for easy use of any material eg. Markers, paints etc. Paper quality is good and pictures are super cute! Similar to Yippee Kay Yay style, not intricately detailed but great for easy quick colouring.

The thickness of the paper is quite nice for a simple coloring book. The designs were just to small in some pages and more childish than I thought. I send it back, since I have so many other coloring books I will enjoy more.

I love this book! Super cute. I do have to say there are a few pages where the details are pretty small, but the paper is really nice and they are single sided perforated pages which are great if you like to remove the pages. Overall I really like it.

Have loads of coloring books but this one by far is the most enjoyable. Fun mandalas that are thoughtfully designed. Hoping for a follow up book.
