I bought these upon the recommendation of various veteran power lifters. Specifically I wanted to start training the wide stance AKA sumo dead lift. When I conventional dead lift I do so with out foot ware but when I tried dead lifting with a wide stance my feet would slide over my socks, this is no good. I've also started to back squat with them and it feels very different than squatting with a raised heel. I've recently seen the same product for sale elsewhere for £50 so I consider the price on Amazon UK a good one. They are built of a high quality and are free from any fault. I have noticed though that they make a noise when I walk, sounds a little like a tennis ball being struck. . . . maybe that's because of the rubber toe cap? It's of no concern to me though because I need not be stealthy :-) I like these and considering that I will only wear them for my squat and dead lift I think they will last a very long time. Recommended value for money product.

These are so comfortable and unlike some trainers I can wear arch supports in these which is a plus. Easy to wear. I have since bought another pair of Converse.

I love these boots but today, after only a couple of weeks and only wearing them about half dozen times, one of the metal eyelets have come away from the boot. Other wise I love them. They are very comfortable to wear.

The first pair of Chucks I've had for a couple or three decades, and still as cool as ever IMHO! One minor issue - the colour ordered was "Grey (Anthracite Grey)", but the label on the box received said "Charcoal". The colour is perfectly acceptable, but has a definite brownish tinge to it - in fact, it's more like the colour of some of the images on the listing for "Grey"! While the colour of images online can never be entirely trusted, just be aware that all may not turn out to be as it seems...

Nice converse, nice colour and a good price. Imagine flogging around twenty-three useless city centre shoe shops to try and find these. Now, you can go online, make a choice from a wide colour range and have them in a couple of days.
