Christina's Regal Review
Bought these for my father-in-law. Only has edema from his toes to his knees. Needed the higher compression to make sure they would actually provide some help. Make sure that you talk with your doctor prior to deciding on what compression of stockings to get. Don't wear them to bed at night. Hand wash only, so buy two pairs so you can wash them each night if needed. Make sure you don't have any areas that are too tight and causing circulation issues.

Good Compression
My husband's feet swell and he wears these during the day to help. They are made of nylon but lasts better if washed in cold water and then line dried. They are costly and for the price, it should last longer than a few months without getting holes in the toes.

Jobst are the best
I've had pronounced varicose veins since my 20's and I've been wearing support hose for over thirty five years. I have tried every brand and type within that brand made. I prefer Jobst for a number of reasons and its the only brand I order any more- About ten years ago I switched to the higher compression. At the 20-30mm compression, differences aren't so pronounced, byt the 30-40 can be problematic and not as comfortable to wear, although, for me, they provide considerably more relief. I wear support hose every day, all day long-- so I feel like really know this product well. I used to like Mediven -- but I think their quality has deteriorated and I don't like the different right and left foot system they currently use. Here's why I think Jobst are the best --1. they are one of the easiest to get on -- some of the other brands will tear unless you are very careful. These I just pull on, I don't have to fold inside out, or do any fancy technique -- the simply go on. They go on easily after I've showered. Some of the other brands will stick if my skin isn't absolutely dry.2. They are very durable and seem to hold their compression longer than other brands so I don't have to replace as often.3. For me, and this is probably a personal taste -- they are the most comfortable to wear by far..4. They feel very well made -- they are very high quality.

initial inspection passed
I inspected it to start, there was no noticeable defects, however after two months they both started to unravel around the sides of the heel. The bottom of the heel is still all right.

Cheaper alternative
These last a while and provide adequate compression. Used pricy compression socks from the local pharmacy that were twice as expensive and didn't last long at all. So good cheaper alternative

Waste of money.
So far I've been very unlucky when it comes to support stockings. Won't be buying any off Amazon any longer. These are very loose, there's no way on Earth they actually have the 30-40 mmHg pressure they claim. The sizing is off and the heels turned to shreds in less than two months. Very unhappy with the buy.
