Chrissie and Sam are so into each other but they can’t see what’s right in front of them and only seem to push each others buttons, until a situation at work forces Chrissie to stick her neck out and take a chance. When they finally give into it, their chemistry is off the charts. Wow, Ruby Scott knows how to write hot, sexy scenes that leave you hot under the collar (and lots of other places) and wanting more. I can’t wait for book 2, bring it on.

A really quick read for me. The storyline was good and quick paced. The characters likable and well developed. I really great quick read.

Read this in a day. Story is sweet and very sexy. Writing is good, narrative flows really well, pretty good character development for a short story as well.Excited for Book 2.

This is a short engaging debut novel by Ruby, a very promising new author. It's a shortish story about two paramedics who also play football (soccer). I loved the changing room steam, kind of like hate sex and oh so hot! Definitely worth a read!

Ruby Scott has written a very engaging and fun to read enemies to lovers trope in her debut! The MCs Chrissie and Sam are at each other's throats both at work (as EMTs) and at play (one is the coach and one is a star player). Both dealing with heartbreak. Ruby expertly built up the conflict between them until something or someone had to give. It will leave you with a feel good feeling that will leave you wishing the book was even longer!

An enjoyable short read. Characters were interesting and likeable. It was also a nice slice of life. Will read the next one in the series.

I enjoyed this short story for three reasons: first there is an age gap, mas not so big; second: they go from haters to lovers, and there is an amazing sex scene. Finally, I really love Medical Romances. Hope the next are as good as this.

This is a fantastic start for this new author. Age gap romance, enemies, Chrissie and Sam, become much more than coach and player. And as co-workers they always seem to be at each other 's neck. Where will it end? Please read! I'm looking forward to more from this author.

Lots of hit stuff, fun stuff, is it enemies to lovers? Maybe. Age-gap. Good chemistry. Too bad it is a novella, plot is solid.
