The wall light appears to be well made, has a solid feel to it and the metal finish goes it an industrial look which I understand is very popularThe goose neck works well, movement is easy and very flexible.Has a tone tone colour, a brass effect, and the neck is finished in black, personally I prefer the single colour rather than the mixture.Easy to install, but needs wiring to the mains, easy If you’re replacing an older light.I do like this, I think its expensive, but it does have a quality to it.

Looks great and feels like it will last. There's quite a lot of bulk to the electrical connections which makes it tricky to get it wired up and attached to the walls, but it's certainly doable. Once up it looks fantastic.

Lovely lamp, it works from a dimmer switched circuit (does not dim) and gives a good light but it does not provide a method to earth the metal box containing the mains wiring, it should have something like the attached picture for U.K. use, especially as you will touch the box to operate the mains switch. I have attached the earth to the wall bracket but it is not ideal.

This light definitely needs a bit of planning! So... It obviously needs mains wires running through your walls to be able to wire this up. Now, are you really going to rip apart your walls to run some extra wires through for one lamp? I doubt it.. So this is only a good option if you're doing major refurbishments.Imagine you've already got a lamp that you're replacing, can this easily be swapped in? Well... Yes, but with an interesting twist. Nobody installs a wall lamp low down, so I don't know how useful that would be for a bedside lamp, especially since it's a button switch and not a string switch that you could pull on while lying in your bed. Furthermore, you've likely got a switch in your wall somewhere for your existing lamp! Adding an extra switch will just make things complicated in my opinion.... If there are multiple lamps attached to the main switch, then I suppose it's nice to have individual control as well!There's a lot to consider, and I would really make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before purchasing. If you're sure you know, then this is a solid lamp and I would recommend!

This is nice design and the light is very brightWhich is lovely.But the fitting does not allow for a surface mounting wire.This expects the mains to be buried in the wall but it's nice and lovely.

I have wanted a light for bedtime reading for a while but wasn't sure what type would work best and without disturbing my wife. When I saw this I thought that it would do the job nicely.On opening this fitting is very well made, it has lovely clean lines and is very modern looking. I have to sort the wiring for this yet but I tested it with a temporary cable and it gives a nice clean reading light which if you have close enough doesn't protrude to far, a little like a torch.The goose neck is very flexible and allows for the LED light to be positioned at any angle within range, making this just the thing I have been in need of.This light fitting comes complete with the bracket for mounting it to a wall and the internal wiring ready to connect to your own spur. This is finished in a lovely satin black which against the silver/grey of our bedroom looks terrific. I am mounting this centrally to our headboard so that either one of us can use it and without to much light reaching the other person.Great fitting and good value.

I think that the layout of the wiring in this lamp is very poor and potentially dangerous; there is no facility to earth the metal box; the wiring is loosely contained and needs to be taped down to avoid potentially trapping during closure with the screws; the connector provided does not fit easily or securely into the box whilst attempting closure; it would seem better to use a more compact connector located inside a conventional wiring patress, at the same time providing an earth connection to the locating bar. Hence I think that the unit as supplied is potentially hazardous.

Pratica!

Parfaitement conforme à la description. Un peu mastoc mais très esthétique quand même. Le système de montage parait un peu cheap compte tenu des forces exercées lors du réglage de la lampe mais s'avère néanmoins fiable si le support en dessous est solide (placo renforcé par du bois)
