Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Cleaner, Lemon Fresh Scent, Two Count Bottle, 120 fl oz Total

READ BEFORE PURCHASING:Because the search for Clorox wipes has now become very much like the search for the Holy Grail, I turned to Pine-Sol to try and find a disinfectant to wipe down packages and deliveries while the Covid-19 crisis rages on. Amazon's product description says lemon Scent Pine Sol kills 99% of all germs. However, this is not the case. Only the original scent is registered as a true disinfectant with the EPA. In fact, nowhere on the bottle or the Pine Sol website does it say that the lemon scent disinfects or kills any germs. The original scent states right on the label that it kills 99% of all germs and the website confirms this. I don’t know why Amazon has the same information under the product description for lemon, as this only applies to the original scent. Perhaps they just took the information from the original and copied it, but it is not accurate. The company confirms that only the original is registered with the EPA as an actual disinfectant and will kill virus germs. If you are looking for a disinfectant, the lemon scent will not work for that.

I bought this because of a false Product Description posted by the seller. I needed a disinfectant and this appeared to be my best option on Amazon. The Product Description for this Pine Sol Lemon Scent Multi Surface Cleaner states "This multi-surface cleaner cuts through the toughest dirt, grease and grime. It disinfects and kills 99.9% of germs including Salmonella enterica, Staphlyococcus aureus, and Influenze A virus." The Pine Sol website shows this is true for the Pine Sol Original Pine Scent product, but not Lemon Scent. I asked the question here on Amazon and the seller Pine Sol never responded, but another Amazon customer called Pine Sol and the company confirmed Lemon Scent does NOT kill germs. I'm stuck with 120 ounces of a product that doesn't do what a false Product Description stated.

Very disappointed in Amazon on this one. No where on the jug does it indicate it disinfects or contains alcohol or other disinfecting agents. I'm totally angry about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shame on amazonon the other side, the scent is lovely and it is a good general cleaner.

HELLO! I WANT TO APOLOGIZE. I GAVE THE WRONG RATINGS FOR THIS PRODUCT AT THE TIME I DID THE 1ST REVIEW. I HAD ONLY SMELLED THE PRODUCT & I HAD NOT USED IT & WHEN I DID I SMELLED MORE LEMON FLAVOR & THAT IT IS CONCENTRATED. IT'S GOOD FOR MOPPING AS WELL AS WIPING COUNTER TOPS.I LOVE IT & RECOMMEND IT!

One of the bottles was fine. The other one was unsealed with a filthy white cap on it instead of the yellow flip cap. The bottle itself was dirty and looked like it was an old bottle that had been refilled.
