Looks great, but that is as far as it goes. Sound quality is tinny. Reception for both DAB and FM limited. The DAB reception was hit and miss in most cases where there was reception it was intermittent. The display was difficult to read as the writing was almost the same colour and in sunlight was nearly impossible to read.

Bought this radio to listen to in my kitchen while I'm baking.It looks great - lovely retro appearance, however it sounds tinny and cheap. The volume isn't a continuous dial, it goes up in increments, with the first being too quiet to hear anything, and the second too loud to have on if we're sat eating together. Who knows what the other ten increments are for...! Also, each time the radio is turned off, it reverts back to the middle volume increment, which means the radio comes on crazy-loud before you can turn it down - not ideal if you're up before anyone else in the house and just wanted some quiet tunes on while you make a cuppa.Still rated 3 stars as it's handy to have the SD/USB ports etc and it does look good on the worktop, and I suppose you can't expect a decent sound quality for this price anymore :(

It’s very plastic and poor quality which is fine as only for workspace.Really annoying trying to turn it on. Still not sure how I do as I end up pressing everything until something happens!

To tune into new dab plus ucb.and it won’t do it
