This tool could not be easier to use. It comes with everything you need to punch perfect, clean, professional-looking new holes in a belt, including very clear instructions that make it easy to use. I was nervous to use it on a nice belt I had recently purchased, but the resulting hole was perfect. It was exactly what I needed, and I recommend it to anyone needing to punch holes in a leather belt.

I've used other leather punch tools back in the day but this one is stellar. Sharp and detailed holes result from this tool. Really well made. Had to punch a hole into a strap on a new, leather cross body handbag I just bought to raise this level of the handbag on the shoulder and this tool made a matched, clean and accurate punch with the same size hole option. Great tool. Will use it in the future for sure.

Heavy duty product. Does the job well.

It's fairly easy to use. I have arthritis, but am able to operate it without any problem. There were NO instructions included, but there were a lot of little plastic discs that fit over the punching platform. I'm new to leather working, so maybe it's common knowledge what to do with those? I'm finding the punch damages the platform. When I put one of the plastic discs down to protect the platform, it punches through it in short order. I have started cutting an extra piece of leather and sandwiching it between the plastic and the leather. This seems to protect the platform, but it's a pain. Instructions would be nice since I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right, but it's getting the job done.

Excellent tool kit with an amazingly low price for the value

I bought this punch to put extra breathing holes in my tennis shoes and boots. It's a quality tool and it works great but not very many punch plates come with it, and you cannot find replacements no matter how hard you look. I don't recall if it was four or six or so that came with it but I ended up having to manufacture my own from some plastic sheeting. Like the photo shows, I traced the inside of a scotch electrical tape roll, which just happened to be the perfect circumference, onto some plastic sheets that are a tad less than half the thickness of a standard credit card. Cut them out carefully with scissors and they fit right inside the last cupped plastic punch plate that I had- just like the original inserts.

This leather hole puncher works well and punches holes thoroughly and easily. The only issue that I have is that it was definitely made for larger hands. The thick handles must open wide to insert the leather piece and being a petite female with smaller hands, I have trouble opening them enough.

It works great
