These earrings are gorgeous, delicate, and the epitome of femininity. The attention to detail is spectacular, and the quality leaves nothing to be desired. They are about the size of a dime, so if you are looking for something incredibly small, I wouldn't recommend these. However, I find their size to be absolutely perfect, as they toe the line between too big to be called delicate and too small to be worth the purchase. I have very sensitive ears and can't wear most hoop or dangling earrings because the weight drives me crazy and makes my ears burn. So, understandably, I was initially worried about these beauties irritating my finicky ears after reading some of the negative reviews. I was also worried about receiving two different sizes instead of a uniform pair. I can happily report that these earrings are lightweight enough to pass the irritability test, but heavy enough to keep you from forgetting that you are wearing them. I can also report in an equally happy manner that they are THE SAME SIZE, and they only have minute differences in appearance, the same way real roses do. To me this adds to the quality and appeal, because no two flowers ever look identical, even if they do look nearly indistinguishably similar. Wonderful product and craftsmanship! If these were offered in multiple colors, I would buy them all in a heartbeat!

These are lovely earrings and surprisingly lightweight. I wore them to my son's wedding. My outfit had a vintage look and these earrings were perfect. I changed the backs to crown backs which were more comfortable for me. The only issue I had was that every time I looked in the mirror it seemed my roses were drooping downward, so I'd have to do a little readjusting. Overall, I think they were the perfect choice for the style and are lovely vintage earrings.

When I was a little girl my older brother bought me these exact earrings and I lost one many years ago probably 20 years ago. And I have been searching for these exact earrings for a long time not knowing the brand. Once I saw these and saw that they were 1928. I knew they were the exact same earrings and I had to buy them when I got them. I was stunned at how perfectly exact they were a match to the earrings I had when I was young. 1928 has been around for very long time and I just didn’t realize that that was a brand name. Also, these if like Japanese animation, these are a pretty close match to the earrings that sailor Jupiter wears in the Sailor Moon videos. These are porcelain so they are not plastic. They are just very elegant and they look very stunning on.

I love this collection of jewelry. The rose earrings are made of porcelain that brings to mind the turn of the century (1800's-1900's).

Beautiful, and incredibly fragile. The first pair I bought arrived broken, and the second pair broke from me pushing my hair back behind my ear and brushing past one of the petals. I don't even know how that's possible. Drop these once, and they WILL break. Only giving three stars because while they lasted they were one of my favorite pairs.

Nicely sculpted and a very pretty statement piece overall. The rosebuds are slightly larger and, therefore, a more substantial weight than I had expected, and the petal edges a touch sharp. Nothing that is going to cut skin, of course. Just a rough rub when I push my hair back behind my ear or something while wearing these. Overall great pieces for the right outfit and event, but more statement pieces than everyday wear.

Well ... The 1928 earrings had 2028 printed on the earring holder and one of the earrings post was loose. And they were bigger than I thought they were going to be normally. I don't have issues with Amazon but I wasn't 100% satisfied.

These are just beautiful. Perfect size. A bit on the heavy side, but having a good sized disk for support on the back of the earring makes a massive difference! Really great pair of understated statement earrings!
