Amazing arm for the Samsung G9 ultrawide monitor. Great adjustability and super easy to install.

I deliberated for a while on this one due to the cost and the fact you can get cheaper options. After reading the reviews about the build quality I took the plunge and I’m so pleased I did. From the moment you open the box and start assembling it, you can just tell it’s robust. The adjustable tension settings mean you can get things just perfect whether your widescreen monitor is large or small. It stays put, it doesn’t wobble, and it’s very secure attached to the desk, even with just the clamps. If it’s in your budget, go for it. You’ll be pleased you did

I'm satisfied with it and it's very sturdy. Some pieces could be designed better e.g. the screws are soft, easily ruined and difficult to reach. It could be a little longer some the size of monitor it mounts is so wide, but it's enough to swing it 180degrees from my desk sitting position to hold directly over my bed which is really cool.

Yes it’s expensive but I think it’s the last monitor arm I’ll ever need. It comes with a long Alan key rod to tighten or loose the arm so it can work with heavy or light monitors. It’s made of solid metal and don’t this would break any time soon. Buy once and it’ll last for ever! Seriously good quality and quite weighty too.

This mount is an absolute blessing for ultra wide monitors. It is easy to install, very stable and is easy to adjust. I can easily adjust the mount to a suitable height which is easier on my neck, I can rotate the monitor with ease and adjust how close/far I want the monitor to my face. This mount is absolutely worth the money 🤌🏼

When you pay this much for a monitor arm you are expecting a lot. And this doesn't fail to deliver. It's holding a 49" ultra wide monitor with absolutely no issues. Looks great and super solid, no wobble at all. Good range of movement. It is a bit awkward to install (as it's so heavy) but you can't really complain about that. Also I had to use Ergotron customer support which was fantastic; can't fault them for that. Highly recommended.

Nic lepszego nie znajdziecie. Jakość wykonania top. Każdy, nawet najmniejszy element ramienia ma sporą wagę i ma bardzo porządne spawy. Z łatwością utrzymuje mi (i ma jeszcze dużu zapasu) Samsung Odyssey G9 Oled 49". Polecam.

It’s really strong and tough duty for real

Penso che Samsung potrebbe fare una partnership con Ergotron per vendere i prodotti in combinata. Sono diversi anni che avevo l'Odyessey, e ho sempre lamentato il fatto che su una scrivania profonda 80cm, lo tenevo troppo lontano, che avrei voluto avvicinarlo maggiormente per sfruttare l'immersività che uno schermo del genere consente di avere. Dopo molto tempo mi sono convinto ad effettuare la spesa non indifferente di questo braccio, che ammetto abbia cambiato totalmente il modo in cui uso questo monitor. Oltre al fatto di avvicinarselo e spostarselo come si vuole, anche il poterlo tirare davvero in alto risulta parecchio comodo. Mi sono pentito solamente di non averlo acquistato prima, trovo che uno schermo del genere debba per forza avere un braccio all'altezza come questo. Il prodotto è eccelso, nel senso che la qualità costruttiva è altissima, non c'è un gioco tra le componenti a cercarlo con il comparatore. E' pesantissimo, e deve essere così per poter sostenere un mostro come il G9. Anche la scrivania deve essere di OTTIMA qualità anche quella, la mia ad esempio essendo particolarmente grande ha sotto 1 trave a C in acciaio per evitare flessioni, e di sicuro anche questo braccio che crea uno sforzo a momento flettente non indifferente. Eviterei di prendere questo prodotto per poi applicarlo su scrivanie di bassa qualità o troppo sottili, rischiate di fare danni non indifferenti.... Ad ogni modo, il montaggio è semplice, dopo qualche giorno occorre serrare nuovamente la molla che si "adagia" sul mastodontico peso del G9, il sistema passacavi non è dei più belli ma è funzionale. Quando è esteso totalmente, quindi circa 60cm, fa PAURA. Mi chiedo come faccia a sopportare tutta quella torsione, eppure ce la fa egregiamente, senza sobbalzi e senza dare la minima impressione di cedere in qualche punto. I materiali evidentemente sono di altissima qualità e soprattutto dimensionati il giusto. Non posso che consigliare questo braccio, come detto nella frase iniziale, penso sia "obbligatorio" per chiunque abbia un monitor di questo tipo!

Amazon didn't allow my first review attempt, and I have no idea why. After weeks of research, in May 2024, I decided to spend the $561.41 (including tax) and I got the Ergotron – HX HD, because I think it's an important investment as I wanted to save space on my desk while having something trustworthy hold up my monitor. I'm not handy person so I struggled to install it: I wasn't sure where on the table I should install the clamp, so it was a bit of trial and error. It was quite a challenge to by myself, attach the monitor to the arm. When I pivot the monitor vertical, it automatically also pivots it a bit to the left or right, horizontally. If there's a way around this, I haven't figured it out. Of course, the purchase was very pricey, but I'm very happy with the performance, looks, convenience, and space saved. ------------------------ Extra information The seller, Deal Targets, shipped the arm out quickly, and it arrived as advertised. To my memory, it arrived at my door in two or three days.
