Looks great, is well made and a great costume or play sword. With a little comfortable weight to it, but not too heavy. I expected it to be a slightly softer, cushier foam with some give, but it's more like a very hard rubber texture, so it's maybe not the best to give to a little kid to play fight with (which is what we bought it for). Other than that, a great piece.

This is an excellent replica to accompany a Hobbit costume. It is lightweight but not flimsy with good detail. I would not recommend it for kids as a toy though because although it is made of a plastic material, it is quite rigid and with a vigorous thrust the rounded point could do some damage.

We got this sword to complement my daughter's hobbit Halloween costume and I was really impressed when i first saw it. The paint looks great and it's actually impressively stout for a foam rubber type sword. The paint simply cannot withstand any abuse, though. The paint on the blade's tip is long gone, as my two daughter love to play sword fight with this and a light saber i got my eldest. For looks, size, etc, it gets a 5/5, i just wish the paint wouldn't come off so easily.

Nothing to dislike about this sword. In the hands of a motivated and perhaps mischievous child or adult, it does indeed "Sting" the backside or wherever the blow may land. We've bought countless play swords, only to break them in light play. We will be buying our play swords from these fine folks going forward. Worth the extra few dollars.

Looks great, especially considering it's foam. Very study. I wouldn't want to try actually using it, but for a costume piece it's great. It'll be a perfect accessory.

This was a super fun piece for my son's toy box. He's six and loves it as well. A lot of the reviewers have been commenting on the tip falling off? I'm not sure how they're being rougher then my guy on this thing, but it's held up for a few months now being smashed tip first into concrete and I couldn't recommend it more highly. the designs are cool and I could see how this would also be a great LARP or cosplay sword.

I ordered two swords, this and Hero's Edge. I returned Hero's Edge as it didn't look good, rather cheap. Sting looks good, especially for the price point, safe for kids (5+) and great for cosplay. If you use this to sword play, be prepared to have the silver paint coming off, nothing that a bottle of silver paint can't repair to restore the look.

It's much harder than I expected I have a few different tips of fome swords this one is really hard

My 12-year-old daughter ordered this to dress up like Tauriel and loved it, until the paint started to wear off of the hilt and leave painful tiny shards in her hands which she has been trying to remove with a tweezer for a week now.
