I agree with others that these are best installed using the wet method. I tried to stick them dry at first but got much better results using soapy water.Step 1: Clean the area where the inlay stickers are to be placed. I used alcohol and some lint free cloth. You can just wash with soap and water and wipe dry. The cleaner the better.Step 2: Mix up a solution of soapy water. I used approx 1 TSP of liquid dish soap to 1 cup of water. It doesn't really matter too much on the ratio. You just want a little soap in the water to make it more slippery.Step 3: Spray the soapy solution using a spray bottle onto the vehicle and the back side of the first sticker. Apply to your fingers as well. Apply liberally.Step 4: Place the sticker into location. It should be able to slide around on top of the soapy water solution. Get it to where you want it and then gently hold one side and rub your finger across the letter. Imagine that you are squeegeeing the water out from under the letter. If it still moves around a lot after placing it, then just get it into the correct placement and let it sit there to dry.Step 5: Keep on progressing to the next letters.Step 6: Return the the first letter which should have had time to dry and press and squeegee it more to make sure it is adhered fully and at the edges.Step 7: Enjoy your new look.I really like the black "Super Duty" lettering on the tailgate of my white F350. I also added white lettering to the silver front grill. The combination really looks good to me. I consider this an inexpensive way to really add a nice looking change. They can easily be removed later if you get tired of the look.It is great that they include double the letters so that you have 2 chances to get it right. Or that you can apply it to both the front and back. Good quality vinyl with plenty of stick. 5 stars.

I bought the chrome ones for the tailgate of my F350 and they look amazing once installed, not so easy to install as they stick right away even if you spray liquid on the metal before installing them and the one thing that I would have to say that I was disappointed with is that some of the letters do not fit exactly to the indentation on the tailgate, most look fine if you take your time to stick them on but the S does not seem to fit right, no matter how you place it but otherwise pretty good.

First of all red on top of Sonic Blue looks pretty darn good. These are the reflective red letters.Installation. Take the tailgate off and lay it flat. The letters pull off of backer fairly easily but are difficult to control. Once it sticks, you're gonna have a HARD time getting it back off the vehicle without tearing or stretching the vinyl. Once the vinyl stretches, you might as well just grab a new letter. There are enough extra letters that you get two chances for each letter.The vinyl is thin and very flexible which causes problems with small creases. I like how thin it is, but just be aware.What I might recommend is trying to find some of that material that goes over the tops of vinyl signs that pulls off after you have the sign exactly the way you want it. It seems like that would help hold the letters in the correct shape and keep everything smooth.

My wife ordered these for me and I feel I must write a review. These stickers line up perfectly and match the factory super duty indentations. They install very easy with Windex, I learned Windex is like magic for stickers! Reminds me of the model car days. They look absolutely great. Cant figure out why Ford does not offer this as a factory option. Amazon said it would take a week and half to receive them, nope got them in about 4 days. Took about 30 minutes to install because I was very meticulous with them. Took about an hour or more before the Windex evaporated out and before they were stuck permanently. Made a mistake and started wiping them clean to soon and the Y came off, but did not ruin it though. The Y still had Windex on it so it was still able to place back with out issue. I waited for 30 minutes after I installed them to wipe them but took an hour before it was actually ready for wiping and waxing. ABSOLUTELY love the look. Really shows off that Super Duty logo that I'm so proud of.

Not the exact perfect fit for the spacing, but looks great. Use plenty of window cleaner, and don't recommend installing on a windy day, makes way more of a challenge. Overall I'm very happy with it and makes the SUPER DUTY stand out now. Murica!

I put the chrome letters on my Blue truck. I took the tailgate off so I could lay it flat to install the letters.The S is the only letter that does not exactly match the indent in the gate. I messed up the first S, so I was gladthere were two sets of letters. I didn't warm the tailgate; I would recommend that anyone installing these to doso. This makes the letters stick faster so they won't move around. Also clean it very well with glass cleaner.I have taken my truck through car wash and the letters are still there. I would buy these again if I need too.

So all in all its a sticker and as long as it sticks ill be happy, but Im writing a review on their customer service. The first package showed up when I got home from work at about 5pm which was about 2-3 days EARLY! was super excited, pull it out of the mailbox and the box had been cut open and the decals removed! It was clear that it was opened with a knife so im pretty sure that someone during transit had opened it and stole the decals. I was pissed so I sent mammoth modz an email and by that night they had another one at no charge on the way! Amazing customer service, in this new age where everything is digital and done over a computer, they are on top of it and willing to do what it takes to make it right with the customer! 5 stars from me
