Love this thing! As of right now it seems like most ring stand manufacturers haven't hopped onto the MagSafe train, so the go-to solution is a magnetic plate with a regular, adhesive ring attached to it. This is the first stand I've seen that has the ring physically attached to the magnetic portion (at least, it looks to be screwed in), so you likely won't need to worry about an adhesive issue separating the plate and ring. The magnetic connection is strong with a MagSafe case (I have the Spigen one) and it doesn't feel like this will ever accidentally come off unless you flick your hand as hard as you can; however, it can come off when you're putting it in your pocket with tighter pants on. The ring is rotatable but requires enough force to move that it can be used as a stand without the phone tipping over.I'll update this if I come across any issues in the future. For now, good buy!EDIT: After a few weeks of use the coating has begun to wear off. Would still recommend but I'm dropping it to 4 stars as a result.

Like the first reviewer I was waiting on some reviews before I purchased the MagSafe ring. It’s a solid design and the ring has enough friction/reactance to use it to prop up the phone as a stand. The ring has a good magnetic attraction to the phone/case whatever. You have to deliberately jar the phone to knock it off. Centers right on the phone when attaching as well. I looked around and found mostly MagSafe pucks and ring holders that 3M tape to the puck. This one is one solid piece which reduces the chance of one more thing breaking a dropping my hundreds of dollars phone.

The best part of this product is the magnet which is perfectly powerful for the task.The product is poorly made and falls apart after a day of use. The initial one purchased was replaced and it fell apart as well. Until this product is made differently, it will always fall apart.I would never recommend this product to anyone!

It was delivered on Friday afternoon. Used it the rest of Friday & all day Saturday. Didn’t use it Sunday, wasn’t attached to my phone case. Put it back on on Monday, and Monday night it broke. One week after getting the replacement mag-safe ring, it still is holding up. I think by using the ring to remove it from my case, it broke. I now use the edge of the magnet to remove it. So far, so good. 🤞🏽Update: the new one is doing fine. I now slide it off the case by pushing it with my thumb. My guess, using the ring put too much pressure on it.

When new I liked it decently. The magnet adhered decently enough that I didn’t worry about it, and came off without much effort when I wanted it to. The ring served nice as a stand at first, but then began to loosen after only 2 weeks or so. Now it is so loose after only another week that it can no longer be used as a stand (it will simply flop down flat). This tension being gone also makes the way you hold it less comfortable and less adjustable. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, but sadly I also don’t see any other great options for this type of product.

I actually really like this holder. I’m using it right now as I type this review. I’ve always thought popits were stupid because I couldn’t ever imagine putting something sticky on my phone. And I have a really nice case on my 13 Pro so I definitely wanted to go magnetic. I like this one because it simply just snaps on. Versus others which has ways to take them apart. Super simple design, which is exactly what I was looking for

**3 month updateLoose connection broke. Downgrading to 1 star for poor quality.The magnet attachments are very strong, I had no concerns holding my phone by the ring and a magsafe case. The only downside I have is that the ring gets a little loose after a while, not a deal-breaker, but worth noting.

Functionally, from allowing holding the phone comfortably to providing a stand, this is a 5-star product. The magnet is very strong in resisting direct force from pulling on the ring to ease of removing for charging the phone.The one problem I have, costing one star, is that lateral force against the magnetic base much more easily detached the base from the phone. It then slides off fairly quickly, and I've lost the holder and had to search for it 3 times in 4 days. I carry my phone in my pocket, and this contributes to the problem.Otherwise, this is the holder to use on the mag case for iPhone12.
