Country Life Chelated Magnesium 250 mg, 90 Tablets

Got this recommendation from a friend. Regular magnesium won’t work, gotta be chelated. Very happy.

I’d use it an hour before bed. It relaxes you and feeling less pain.

This product was recommended to me by my rheumatologist as part of a program to prevent osteoporosis.

The shattered bottle made the product unsafe for consumption. It should be replaced.

They changed the formulation of this product and didn't let customers know! I've been using this brand exclusively for over 9 years to control the symptoms of my TMJD. In all that time I have been virtually symptom free! Recently, over the course of a few weeks, I noticed my TMJ muscles getting more and more tight. Along with heat and massage, I doubled and tripled my Country Life magnesium bc that had always worked in the past. All I got was loose stools. Due to the vicious cycle of one muscle getting tight, pulling another , making that get tight and so on.... after weeks of trying to get my old stand-by magnesium to work, my TMJ muscles kept getting more and more tight to the point that I can now hardly open my mouth. Only when I read another review was I alerted that Country Life had changed it's formulation!!! I dug up an old empty bottle I'd kept and sure enough--- Old ingredient list: "Magnesium as amino acid chelate" New ingredient list: (In order) "Magnesium (as magnesium oxide, citrate, aspartate, taurinate, alpha-ketoglutarate)" How dare they change the ingredients and not make customers aware!!! Deceitful practices! I obtained some muscle relaxation (the kind I used to get from the old Country Life) from Natural Calm but it really messes with my bowels. I just ordered Albion Chelated Magnesium. I will be keeping a close eye on my ingredients of all of my supplements from now on! Never again will I be a customer of Country Life!
