Easy to add taste to anything with this. Great product- couldn’t get it in any of the local supermarkets so had to order it online

Gently unusual, genuinely mild and versatile flavour
I’m a spice wimp who, in a restaurant, will avoid anything with two chilli symbols or more next to it. So when a sauce says “medium mild”, I want to know whether it’s truly mild but still flavourful, or whether it’s got a real kick to it and I dispute the use of the word “mild”. But this sauce does seem to meet “medium mild” as a fair description. It’s got a tangy, gentle spiciness to it, which flows naturally into the fruity, rich honey side of the flavour. The result is really rather nice. The honey flavour pushes through well and it has a little bit of bite, but no more so than some regular barbeque or brown sauces. It’s very sweet, and my kids- who are on the fussy side I think- ate it happily so long as we didn’t tell them it was spicy, because if we tell them it’s spicy they won’t touch it, but if we serve it up without using the word “spicy” they’ll enjoy it.It’s a medium thickness paste that’s going to be fairly versatile. Stir fries and wraps are the obvious two uses but there’s plenty of other baking you could use this for- as a marinade will work nicely I think. The packets aren’t especially large, but since we don’t want to over-do it on the spice side, a packet will do a family meal’s worth with no problems. It’s three packs for a fiver for time of writing, which makes it a nice affordable, decent-value way of bringing a slightly different but interesting flavour to the table.

Tasty but quite mild
The Capsicana Mexican Chilli & Honey Cooking Paste is fairly mild in taste compared to what we were expecting but it has a nice flavour and makes a great chicken dish, You can use it in all different ways and there are example recipes on the pack but you don't need to limit yourself to them.

great cooking paste
I used two packs of these Capsicana Mexican chilli and honey cooking pastes, as I was cooking for the whole family, not just two people as it recommends each pack is meant for. I used them with chicken and mushrooms and they really enhanced the taste of the meal. It was a thumbs up all round. They are so easy to use, just open the pack and squeeze in to the pan. They add a bit a variety to a mid week meal. We'd all definitely recommend them.

Gluten free
Found this paste to be quite mild but at the same time very tasty. Mixed it with strips of chicken onion and peppers using all the paste with just enough water to clean the packet out added crushed beans corn cheddar cheese and mozzarella and made into quesadillas, and served with sour cream and chilli jam mmm lovely and tasty As I am coeliac it was nice to find something I can have. I think they are a little expensive but would buy again as they are gluten free.

Tasty Mexican Style Meal
✅ This is rated as medium chilli heat with 3 out of 5 chilli peppers score. Whilst it's nice and tasty we couldn't taste the chilli heat. As we like chilli in our meals and we added extra chilli to it.✅ Good taste - we served with rice and refried beans and in wraps. Both very nice!✅ The packet is quite small - we cooked two good sized chicken breasts, one large onion and one pepper. as per the instructions we also added some water - we added water to the empty packet to get more out... whilst everything was coated in the sauce its not a thick runny sauce.✅ Good instructions and clear ingredients and other key information.✅ Not short dated - 6+ months on the best before clock.Quite expensive but easy to prepare and very tasty!

Delicious
I used one of these sachets on a chicken ready to go in the roasting pan. Even the smell on opening the packet was mouthwatering, and the meat itself subtly infused with the flavours. As I had cooked it in an enclosed pan , the juices, that became the gravy, were also delightfully spiced up by this. It's not too sweet, not too spicy, for us, it's just right and carries all the best flavours of Mexican cooking. Highly recommended.

Very tasty indeed but also VERY expensive!
On the back of the sachet it states that you’ll need:300g Chicken1 Onion1 Green or Red Pepper1 tbsp Olive OilIn my book, that’s a meal for one. As I was cooking dinner for two, I used two of these and at £1.67 per sachet, it cost more than the two chicken breasts I used!As stated on the packet, it’s medium mild and with this in mind, I cooked my chicken with a couple of teaspoons of smoked paprika and a three chopped red chillies. After adding the red onions and peppers (two red, one green) and the juice of one lime, I added two sachets of this paste (it’s looks like a thick black tar) and let it blend in for a couple of minutes. It is very tasty indeed and added a delicious sweet honey flavour to my chicken fajitas.Overall, despite tasting fabulous, it’s very expensive and I think I could make something that’ll add a similar taste to my fajitas for a fraction of the price.
