Gas Oven Stove Range Igniter/Ignitor Fits Tappan 316T023P01

OK replacement for Tappan model KTM-2813-87A.The mounting bracket for this igniter has an upper and lower mounting tab ears to allow the igniter to be mounted on the left or right.The spacing of the mounting holes are a hole diameter too close together for the Tappan model KTM-2813-87A.Had to convert the front mounting hole on the mounting bracket to a slot using a pair of tin snips to mount the igniter.Other then that the igniter appears to be working OK so far. This igniter heats up more quickly and ignites the gas more quickly when the oven is switched on then the previous igniter did.

It works, but it is not the part shown in the picture. It is a few inches longer so the mounting holes do not line up. I was able to get 1 mounting screw in, so not very secure.

ordered it came quick but didn't work. Dont know if it was the oven but tried every thing to get it to work to no avail.

It was the right one since I know nothing about Igniter switches. It came a day early, which is always a nice surprise. I will absolutley order from them again.

Did not work

The item worked great. It did look a little different than the original one that was in the oven but I have had no problems. Our oven is very old and now it works better then when we moved in.

I have a newly purchased beach cottage. The gas oven would not light. After a bit of research I decided to try to fix it myself. I bought this igniter and had the stove fixed in 20 minutes. The price is great and shipping was fast.
